sorted byAnyway cutting a short story even shorter. They offered me 500Mb for £23 a month. They said if I want I can have 10Gb (10,000Mb) for half price, so £125pm instead of £250pm. I went for the 500Mb. I told them I would be selling up and they put it in writing if they couldn't supply me in the new location they would end the contract when I live. They honoured that deal.
Overall YouFibre were flawless. I don't like the Eero wifi point they supply. So I replaced that with a DLink router. Once the contract ended I sent all the equipment back and now I am connected up in my new place with Now broadband and get 46Mb :/
YouFibre were great, customer service was great. Recommended. If they ever start up where I live now some 150 miles away then I'll sign up with them. Not due to get FTTP where I live until October so I'm on PotatoBand until then. Sad times, but ah the memories.

Just something to bear in mind if your cancelling or going to cancel an existing contract with the idea of getting YouFibre.
Flashbacks of exactly this scenario when I joined youfibre (3 month wait).
I was with Talktalk for years, they kept increasing the prices during mid contract. That's even without the inflation. Sneaky.
Since these are 24 month contracts, there is nothing to say they won’t try to increase the pricing next year while still in contract.
I’ve not seen their contracts and what they say about increases so it’s unclear if you’d be tied in to the increase or if you’d be free to leave early if it negatively impacted you.
We also have offers for people who are in current contracts 🏻 (edited)

A friend of mine thought he couldn't get community fibre after checking think broadband..
But I knew it was rolled out in his area.. Checking directly on the community fibre website.. He could confirm it was available.
So not checking directly with the provider is not the best strategy
BT does cost more but their customer service is exemplary. No other company I've dealt with are so professional and respectful. I can also understand what they say
If only more companies behaved like dinosaurs.
Just thought it was worth providing some positive feedback for others, plus at 944Mb up and down you can't really complain too much

and if exclusive to benefit claimants this kinda leaves the deal title misleading.
I understand that they have to run their own fibre from infrastructure to my house but then they should be able to use the existing fibre into the property, just needs resplicing. (edited)
I had 3 attempted installs of YouFibe, until they eventually said I need a wayleave to dig up my driveway and lay a new line.
I didn't trust the competency of the engineers so cancelled the install. Signed up with Vodafone and Openreach connected me with no digging required!
