*edit* £230.96 after promotional discount at checkout.

Amazon US currently has a deal on these and even with postage, packaging & import fees it still works out £50~ cheaper than the cheapest UK seller (bax, at £289.00)

With amazing preamps and extremely low noise floor, plug in your XLR microphone and begin recording your 32bit audio files.

If you only have a lav mic and are after 32bit I would recommend the Dr10L Pro or the soon to be released. PR-2 Pocket Recorder

My old Zoom H4n got sticky recently (plastic failure) and then died soon after - lot of use and love over the years.

Would love to replace it with something similar (will accept inputs, XLR but also has it's own mics). Similar price point to the H4n but isn't going to suddenly turn into a sticky nightmare one day... any thoughts anyone?

It's a lot more robust than the F2 but much will depend on whether you tend to use 3.5mm mics or XLR mics. Both recorders can be adapted to accept either but if you tend to use XLR then the F3 makes more sense and vice versa. And if you use an XLR mic that requires phantom power then the F3 is definitely preferable.
