No, food hub discount showing on my receipt. Just their own discount (y)
Foodhub takes the hit eventually, the initial payment is including the discount. The vouchers are reclaimed from foodhub automatically. The takeaway knows the voucher was used as it shows on the receipt that they print with your order
Does the takeaway lose out from using these vouchers or does foodhub take the hit? If the latter, does the takeaway know a voucher's been used?
I had a similar incident when the take away cancelled my order because they were closing an hour earlier than on what was stated on food hub (they're still doing it smh). No refund. Got a call for a questionnaire & asking me to rate food hub. I turned there attention to my still owed money & they agreed I was owed it but someone would call me. Still waiting weeks later. The CS on the app is hopeless.
I didnt take part in the winitwednesdays competition where 3 winners would get a £15 prize nEither did i win. I said to foodhub i didnt recieve an email with a winitwednesdays £15 vouucher because i didnt. I wasnt meant to anyway as i didnt win or take part. Would I be lying to foodhub with what i told them

I think it’s just hit and miss many dodgy takeaways about on all food apps my advice is only use the ones that you know are good that’s what I do now Which you can’t if your new to your area but if you are try googling the takeaways for reviews so you don’t have to rely on foodhub’s must admit I will only order from 8 of the 12 on foodhub by me that’s because I know the 4 aren’t good so not worth risking disappointment Just eat has over 80 so a lot more choice but I wouldn’t order from over half of them because I know what there food quality is like from past orders or advice from family / friends experience.
Most welcome buddy, enjoy those kebabs :)
Last minute kebab dinners sorted! Nice one @matwalaboy !!
If you have Uber Eats in your area I’d suggest using the £15 off code (y)

Going to be ordering a takeaway tomorrow, is there a new £3.50 off Foodhub offer live in July? Has anyone found one yet?
Question is with £3 off a £9 spend in May with NEWM300 and then in June with NEWJ300 I wonder if they will keep things rolling for July.... VC350 for £3.50 off has been great for single orders like myself but when ordering for a family I imagine most people benefited from the max £5 discount on the 20% codes.
Last day today
Boy I'm getting fat!!!only 2 days left,...
Worked fine for me just now. Though afterwards I did need to update the app..
20% off your whole order with code. Up to a maximum discount of £5 off.
Has this expired now?
Worked for me, thanks :)
I like to work up a bit of an appetite first. There's nothing worse than ordering and it coming when you're still not hungry. Most takeaways by me take around 30-45mins to come (Dominos can be as little as 15-20). An hour is usually absolute maximum at peak times. So it's no big deal ordering when you're ready to eat. I know it was Saturday night but I've never had one tell me it's going to take 2 hours before.
I don't get why people wait till they are hungry before ordering, just order in advance. My old man owned a takeaway for years and hated when folk complained over waiting times. Always order in advance my man and once you are starving it will be at the door ;)

Launched in 2017, Foodhub is an online portal that brings together the restaurants and cafes of different areas and helps them to deliver a takeaway service to their customers. Whatever type of food you fancy - from burger and chips to 'posh nosh', Tex Mex to sushi or simply a lunchtime baguette - you'll find a restaurant near you through the Foodhub portal. So how does Foodhub grab a market edge over its competitors? It does so in two ways. It doesn't charge you, the customer, a service charge and doesn't ask the restaurants for commission. Instead, they pay a flat weekly rental fee which almost always works out more profitable for them than using other delivery services. With this business model, its list of restaurant partners is growing all the time while you can dine well knowing you're supporting local companies.
Food Available at Foodhub
Foodhub provides a link between the customer and the food outlet, allowing them to deliver food at a competitive price. While all food types are covered, the most popular ones are highlighted at the bottom of the Foodhub webpage. These are:
As India is such a large country it's no surprise that Indian cuisine is diverse but it does feature some tasty elements in common. Spices, pulses, vegetables and rice are widely used while most dishes are made from scratch with processed food being avoided. Indian food is generally low in fat and high in healthy protein, vitamins and minerals. It's the perfect choice for a home delivery whether you're dining alone or planning a feast with friends and family.
After Indian food, Chinese is probably the second most commonly ordered takeaway cuisine in the UK. China is another huge country with a food culture that is incredibly diverse. Its food satisfies the taste buds while dealing with hunger pangs while being healthy with its use of vegetables, broths and rice. Like Indian food, Chinese cuisine is great for both solo dining and eating with friends and is also one of the cheapest takeaway options. If you have a favourite Chinese restaurant near you, Foodhub lets you enjoy its food as often as you like.
Simple fresh ingredients and dishes that conjure up either blue skies in the summer or winter days in the mountains. Is there anything not to like about Italian food? Every region of Italy has its own style from the rustic dishes of Tuscany to the pasta dishes of Naples and the cheeses of Emilia-Romagna. This diversity is held together with a reliance on fresh local ingredients and simple but effective cooking methods.
Pizza probably runs a close second or third to Indian and Chinese cuisine as a takeaway favourite. Apart from the fact that it's easy to eat and tastes delicious, pizza is a takeaway winner as it's almost a whole meal in itself. It is a tasty combination of carbohydrate (the base), protein (the topping), vegetables (the tomato paste) and fat (the cheese). Almost all your food groups in one sitting. It's also remarkably filling, meaning you won't be tempted to snack later.
While not the most obvious choice for food delivery, Japanese food is growing in popularity as a takeaway. Order a Bento box or sushi meal from a Japanese restaurant and marvel at how beautifully and colourfully they are presented. The quality of the raw ingredients is paramount for Japanese chefs, meaning your dish is prepared with fresh healthy food. And with the warm savoury saltiness of umami, you have a perfect comfort meal as well.
