Same I'm sure they do it on purpose to reduce call center costs due to all the people giving up after wasting their whole evening trying to get the food they paid for. Then they let companies wipe their bad reviews so the many non delivery problems are not made public.. so new blood can get ripped off and FH still get their cut. Great business model. Happened a ton, FH service is a misnomer.
That does look about right. I genuinely think the customer service is pretty poor, but I can only go on what I've experienced, which is no hassle when ordering through them, and all my favourite take aways are 'on the button'. So I've never really needed the customer service.
never had an issue as such but when trying to talk to someone on live chat it took 45 minutes to get through then they didn't say anything for 25 minutes and left queued up again for 30 minutes to get 6th in place only to be kicked back to last place for no reason gave up
What if it only certain takeaways have this monetary problem.

Partly true, been in touch with their parent company T2S for the past few months and have been working with them very closely on a couple takeaways and setting them up. From a takeaway's perspective having Foodhub is only useful if you are in a populated city or locality where people order lots and I meant quite a lot of takeaway food. Foodhub may not be charging commission to restaurants but it also has many tricks of its own to balance that out i.e. by having higher than JustEat charge per card transaction that's paid online. To benefit the restaurants they are given the authority to remove any negative reviews that are posted on the Foodhub portal, JustEat doesn't allow this but is instead customer friendly and lets customer add multiple reviews good or bad. JustEat has HUGE initial setup costs, we are talking closer to 1k by the time you are up and running, these lot are wrapped up and ready to go under half the price. So all in all these codes etc are their gimmick to get their customer base to download their app, give some business to the takeaways who are their members and get the ball rolling. More app downloads due to vouchers meaning more business for takeaways who will carry on being members so FoodHub keeps getting revnue and can invest more in getting even more takeaways on board, the circle keeps getting bigger and things keep getting cheaper. SO in this vicious circle of money making, we need to be very vigilant as customers in choosing the right restaurant that will use quality ingredients and is clean and safe. Because once you are on FoodHub they all look and read the same, so make sure to check their ratings on doors and not just thier cheap prices.

No sign of Touch2Success on the takeaway (Delhi Kitchen) website. Seems to be total fabrication by Foodhub. Who are still incidently still advertising that they accept orders for Delhi Kitchen (who have never heard of them and have no order terminal for anyone except Just Eat)
when the money comes out of your bank it says www.takeaway.je so might be worth trying to contact them?
I got an email this morning saying a refund was being processed and would take 5 days, so the restaurant must have done something at their end as I never was able to get through to anyone from Foodhub. Their livechat is a disgrace... I got passed from one BOT to another BOT to another BOT (all the bots had different names and were of no help). Every time it said it was passing me to an agent, the agent just transferred it to a bot (ie. disconnected as soon as they read the thread) - they didn't say a word to me or respond to anything. This company is fraudulent and I suspect won't be in business much longer.
i 'might' have an idea why that happened, the restaurants don't directly sign up to Foodhub, they sign up to Touch2Success, thats the company that rents them the point of sale terminal and sets them up with their own website with their own .co.uk address, then touch2sucsess also adds them to their own portal "Foodhub" so maybe the restaurant didnt know they were going to be on another portal (Foodhub) and hence hadnt heard of them? it's just a thought, as my local Indian had their own website set up by them, then around 2 weeks later they appeared on Foodhub you can check if my thoughts above are correct... search on google for the takeaway to see if they have their own website, if they do then scroll to the bottom and you will see the Touch2Success logo at the bottom if they don't the forget the above :p
Disgraceful really. Did you try calling Touch2Success - it's the company that handle FH's customer service - 01782444282. Datman handles payments - 03330165548. Both numbers are charged at national rates, inclusive in mobile minutes plans. Failing that, start a chargeback with your credit issuer or bank under the fact that you didn't get what you paid for.
ordered food from them took over an hour and a half and then they said they cancelled the other for no reason, not exactly happy and not sure why people like this over justeat

Absolutely agree!! I was praising them before as well, but then had issues. Ended up ordering a meal, contacting them 1 hour after receiving confirmation email that the Shop had received my order and was "Preparing" my meal, asking the shop where my order was, they asked me to confirm address, I did, I was told the delivery driver was out delivering to someone else, and I'd be next in the queue to receive my order once he returned. An hour later, still nothing, phoned them again, wasted 20 Minutes on the phone, to then basically be told that they no longer use Foodhub's Platform!!! Spent 10 minutes on Live Chat to Foodhub speaking to a Robot, who then passes me on to what they describe as a "Human" who took 30+ minutes to respond. Foodhub (apparently) contacted the takeaway by phone to see what the issue was, then the customer service adviser informed me that the takeaway "was not delivering that night" So I was basically lied to. Not happy with having to wait almost 3 hours with no food, and money being taken from my account, I left both shop and foodhub a 1* Rating along with a review of my experience, which they then quickly disabled leaving comments. I was not even offered a new £5 off £10 code to use, as the black friday one never worked, so the code I ended up using was not a generic one and therefore couldn't be reused. Racked off Service, will never use again.

Pizza Hut incoming.. i used the code WINTERF25 for 25% off, that stacks with the 35% off that PH is offering, works on sides/desserts/drinks unlike other Pizza Hut discount codes when ordering direct ;) in fact, both codes give the % off the sub total, so i got 60% discount, or ~£20 off a £33 order :p
Not on my order. I could only pick 1 sauce. But I do prefer food hub, better deals in my area.

Restaurants are allowed to moderate user reviews themselves, so it’s worth checking out reviews on other sites like JustEat before ordering.
Glad they actually take notice of any additional notes you provide them with! 3 Times I've ordered from the same place now, requesting that they send Fried Rice without Egg, twice, they ignored it and sent Egg Fried Rice. 3rd Time I ordered Boiled Rice, surely they could not screw that up!! No, they sent.... "Egg Fried Rice". Oh well, teach me for being a "Fussy Eater" :D

Tbh Uber Eats isn't any better. Ordered KFC. Mashed potato came still frozen, uncooked! Complained and Uber Eats say its not an issue (really? Uncooked food?) and won't do anything about it. All these delivery companies are just taking a cut without providing a proper service. I'm going to stick to calling my local trusted restaurants that do delivery and order direct from now on.
This is a sign of very poor customer service. At least you found out early on what their customer service is like. Most people think they have had excellent service when buying something and soon realise what the service is like when they try and get a refund

I’ve been using FoodHub for about 9months only had 2 problems and they where with the restaurant and not with Foodhub, both times I got refunded onto my card

Yes made 2 accounts but used 2 different code in the same account so maybe look around for other code AUTUMN20 or AUTUMN5
Is your mobile number different on each account? Making another account now and sometimes accounts are tied to the number and so the codes wont work
