Nice, im after an ‘expensive’ watch for a present to myself - its between this, a Doxa or a Squale, but this is such good vfm!
Sure. :) Daily wear long shot: Clasp detail, feels high quality and the finish is excellent: Bracelet detail: Close up under white light, I can't emphasise how shiny and black it is (I got the black one): Close up of the triple Seahorse emblem on the back: I absolutely love it, and can't wait to wear it out. Also can't wait to get the special edition "over-pole" Captain Cook in 37mm which is due out imminently (but two or three times the proce, I think):
Can you put more picks up please. The professional photos you don’t get a feel. Got this in the basket atm, thinking beater watch for work..
Got mine today. It's stunning. No buyer's regret.
Not many things resell at the same price. People but a car without worrying that it practicality halves in value as you drive from the dealership. The 65 inch TV mentioned in the comments will lose as much money, so do mobiles worth a grand, plus they become outdated, so they suffer even more. But suddenly with a watch people want it to hold its value. Weird decision making. As a rule of thumb nearly ALL watches lose value. But if you buy one you love and look after it, it will last a lifetime and many get passed down through generations. If you look at it that way it's not as expensive as your 3 year old iPhones etc by any means. On the other hand, if you don't get any personal value out of a watch and it's merely functional get a 20-50 quid quartz. This is a deal platform and this is a very good price for this item, so heat added. Debating whether you actually want the watch is slightly pointless at times.
