I bought this yesterday so it gets delivered today. It's got the sistem51 movement if it breaks you put a new movement in they cost £30 and you don't pay for services. I love the surprise caused by a non dive watch not having a rotating bezel on every watch post.
Handsome watch IMO
I have a Tissot Le Locle automatic from 2009 or so and it is the most accurate watch I own.

I have not had it on a time grapher etc if its 10 second out or 30 im not fussed about it - for the money I paid i was happy with it, then bought the black version as well!
any pictures from anyone that got it ? Is it as good in flesh ? Are you happy with ur purchase

Unfortunately, this is Dec 2020, the world has moved on and as such the SKX represents very poor value at current retail.
So some good has come out of it...(lol)
If you spend half the week correcting the time on your SKX my friend then either you don't understand it or yours is broken. My small tip for you, get the back off, if it's still ticking, regulate the thing and wear it. Then spend the rest of the week giving it the Seiko 5 knuckle shuffle to keep it going. It's from 1996 and is built to last. Don't overcomplicate things.

Seiko 5 Sports Automatic Watch - Green SRPD63K1 (and free Sekonda Watch) £153 at The Watch Hut£153£19522% off
My 5 isn't too bad (15 sec/day after I regulated it). My Prospex was/is shocking and now runs several minutes/day too quick even on the slowest setting. I'm just going to buy another movement for it (and try to fit it when I'm feeling brave) they're not worth servicing. Think it's luck of the draw.
I, too, am becoming more and more impressed with SteelDive. Need to add one to my collection I think
You wont be disappointed, I guess a lot of these so called micro brands are being made in the same factories but with a far bigger price tag, the fact that they do not have Seiko on the dial means nothing as far as I am concerned.
My sumo with the Seiko NH35 keeps far better time than the Genuine Seiko fitted with the so called 6R15 movement, Fit and finish these clones seem very good and there is a lot of talk about them being better regulated, I can only say mine is within a couple of seconds as apposed to other Seiko,s such as the turtle etc, all have been a lot worse. I see what you say about standing the test of time but realistically what is there to fail, they use the same movement as the Seiko, the crown on mine is very smooth, the bezel action is good, I just cant see why they would not last as long as their counterpart, I have considered the SKX clone, got to be worth 100 notes surely, have to be careful what I buy since losing my job but very tempted. Ceramic bezel insert, Sapphire crystal, screw down crown and case back, brilliant lume, all stainless steel, Seiko automatic movement as fitted to some Seiko's costing several hundred pounds and for around a100 quid, my goodness a true bargain, you could not buy the parts for this price.

Seiko Prospex PADI Men's Blue Silicone Strap Watch - "Mini Turtle" SRPC41K1 £244 with code at The Watch Hut£244£31924% off Free P&P Free
Hey @Jawalks great first deal! Thanks for posting (y)
Just a thought for anyone who fancies a couple of the new 5s or can share with a.n.other to take it to £300 and get the extra £75 off. £150 a pop is by far the best I have seen anywhere.
They might, especially if they were to believe that a screwed down crown was synonymous with a "low tier" movement.
I already own the save the ocean samurai which has been great in time keeping ( must have been lucky!) but I’d love one of these but at around the £300mark! https://www.watcho.co.uk/Watches/Seiko/Seiko-Prospex-Save-The-Ocean-Manta-Ray-Samurai-Divers-Automatic-Watch-SRPE33K1.html
Some would rather have the simplicity of a push pull crown and they dont need the 200wr that a screw down helps with.

Absolutely .... Down To £217 It Is IMHO A Beauty A quick 360 Degrees .... I am of course bias as I have the Auto version. That link is to the Stainless Strap version which is always the best option, then you can also pop it on a brown leather strap where it looks IMHO totally awesome.
Ive got a black and rose gold le locle and a white dial visodate and the visodate is such a nice watch in person.
Le locle series. Lovely watch but in the smaller side at 39mm I think.
Always tempted by something like this but I think I'd prefer it in red, looks great though and is bloody tempting
