sorted byAgreed after using it for 1 year I did not renew it was not worth, every visit we made during that year we only found hour or more long queues for all the rides. Not even sure why they say we have to pre-book I think that is just marketing I sincerly do not believe it is to restrict no. of people in a park in a given day as they still sell tickets at the gates.
Also as a pass holder you have to prebook atleast a day before same day pre-book not possible buf if you then drive to park you will see tickets available at the gates for ££. (edited)
Click on it and there's a calendar which shows what days are blocked out
From purchase date
Best thing to do is to actually work out where you will go and the cheapest price you could pay for it, add them together and then see if the pass is cheaper (checking the exclusion dates as most passes won't include fireworks at Alton Towers etc).
For example Alton Towers is £65 on-the-day, so £32.50 with a Kelloggs voucher, Chessington is £57 so £28.50 with a voucher, Warwick Castle £31 so £15.50 with a voucher. Those three attractions would be £76.50 so need to do a lot more or multiple visits if you are paying £119 for a silver pass.
Or if you are visiting off-peak weekdays or sundays then a Discovery Pass would save you £7 at the sale price.
Visit BLC website, prices are the same as this deal and has been like this for a while.
I visited Blackpool and had no issues whatsoever with availability, I asked at the front desk if I needed to prebook and they said ‘no need if it is not busy’, so I didn’t book the remaining three attractions, we just turned up and walked in.
I have got my money back for the annual passes following the one day trip out. So worth every penny in my eyes (edited)
It says on the website it ends 23:59 on 22nd May 2022

I rang them and they said no discounts on BLC
Edit : actually seems like joining fee only for pay monthly (edited)
No new passes start from the date of purchase. But when you renew an existing pass you get a lower price anyway.

Can confirm that my pass bought today expires on 29 April 2023.
This offer looks great on paper but no good if I can’t actually book to go anywhere!
There was issues when parks were on limited capacity, don't think it's much of a issue now
Legoland....the worst park I've ever been to, absolutely horrific in every sense...
I purchased annual passes in the last sale. Prebooking is necessary but personally never had a problem with capacity and booking even a couple of days before. The booking portal seems really glitchy though, which might make people think they can't book. As other have stated, capacity was a problem but not really an issue now.
Depends which pass you buy.
Discovery pass is off-peak sundays and weekdays, excludes all holidays. But its only £69 at the moment so the third visit is only a few quid and fourth is free!
Then the silver pass excludes August and bank holidays plus fireworks and halloween
Gold pass excludes bank holidays, halloween, fireworks and a few other popular days.
Platinum has no restrictions.
The high ropes, shooting, archery, climbing and assault course are all "free" to annual passholders, other activities are 50% off.

Merlin are some of the busiest rip off theme parks in the world, with premiums required for fast track and an abused disability access scheme.
I wouldn't go unless you are eligible for their disability passes, go somewhere else.
If you absolutely must go, pull the kids out of school and go midweek on pre booked day.
Can you please share the tip if it's still valid?

Thanks but I mean once you have the pass and you try to book a day out. Passholders still have to pre book and I have read that it is really hard to find any availability.
Yep it is awful I feel sorry for families who make the effort and pay big bucks . They simply don’t care and overfill park and expect kids to wait in queues for hours on end for a single ride . Obviously fast pass an extra cost . Real shame
my son used to go to a Jewish school, so lots of days off for Jewish holidays. it was great, no queues and cheap tickets from ebay. Now, I just send them to school when they're ill and keep them off when they're well to go to thorpe park.
AT is £6 , Thorpe is £7 on app £8 at Barrier,.I think Chessy is £5
Alton Towers has always been expensive, back in 1994 my family struggled to afford it and we went to Drayton Manor instead.
You can get slightly cheaper tickets by using vouchers on Kellogg’s packs to bring it down to £32.50 each. But that’s only really £10 less than the online price
Yes
Great, thanks!
Just book everything well in advance.
