Mubi is the best film streaming service for Independent and World cinema.

Note: For the cinema tickets, Mubi has a film of the week so you don't get to pick which films you get a ticket for. Mubi Go is only available at selected cinemas.

I've been waiting for a new Mubi offer and unfortunately this offer isn't as good as previous years but still a good deal for people who like going to the cinema and who are prepared to take a risk on seeing films they might not usually watch.

The Mubi library has an amazing list of films, just don't expect Hollywood blockbusters.

The difficulty with mubi is the interface. It's very hard to search. Endless scroll g by category.

I agree it's probably their biggest weakness but they have recently said they are working on overhauling it so hopefully it won't be too long. I love the content and the quality of streaming is high, still no HDR though.

Not sure if it will always work but whenever I've tried to cancel my subscription they've offered a cheaper rate - most recently was around £80 for a year (£6.59 per month)

Mubi is not what it used to be. Doesn't add new films every day now and has probably only added around 8 or 9 titles in the past month which would be acceptable if the quality and originality was there but all bar one or two of them are films you will almost certainly have seen before (or can access on free services like freevee) or of low quality/appeal or short films of around 15-20 mins. They're clearly struggling financially which is a real shame as they used to be a great place to discover new (or old) and interesting films from around the world but seems those days are over

If you used last year "1 year Mubi subscription for £14 (via Turkish VPN) @ Mubi" deal, you can renew for circa £30. That's £2.50/month, still great price.

There are some great films on Mubi but they hide it within a lot of utterly tedious pretentious twaddle. It's a shame as if they stuck with the more watchable films it would be a good service.

Not sure, I couldn't find it anywhere. Last year it was over the Black Friday period for a few weeks I think.
