I just got booked with Travel Trolley -. Rang up Travel Up and Travel Trolley to check their customer service. Travel up first hung up and the second time didn't answer - Travel Trolley picked up within 2 rings and answered my basic questions. It was just a test to see how well they respond.

Also went to the Jet Blue website it was nearly £100 more.

Anyways, as soon as I booked with Travel Trolley, within an hour got my Airline Ref number and e-ticket. Went to Jet Blue's website, chose my seats (for free), and filled in my documentation.

My experience was pretty good if this helps.

Do I need visa to go, and how much is it?

Good deal, though useless for anyone who has been to Cuba on holiday

Is there a time limit on any Cuba trips?

I ask as I've been to various parts of the USA numerous times on holiday (i.e. 2005, 2010, 2012, 2017, 2019) and was in Cuba in 2002 for a holiday, and it was never mentioned.

Updated: just had a quick google on this as it only applies if you've visited Cuba from 2011 onwards. (edited)

The headline fares don't seem to available direct from the airline which means you are forced into booking via an agent which is never a good idea.

Just for future reference why not? I've bought most of my flights through agents and never had a problem. (Fingers crossed 🤞)

    JFK is a absolute nightmare

The only issue I had was the 45minute que at immigration. Apart from this, it was pretty smooth sailing with the option of jumping on the train straight from the airport.

Got to say, we were really impressed with Jetblue. Flew from Miami up to New York, brand new plane, efficient staff, nothing too much trouble. You won't be disappointed

OH desperate to go to NY but i have a chronic health condition which limits my ability to sit upright for up to 8-10 hours (av flight time from uk). Therefore i need access to a seat that doesn't just recline but goes completely flat. Then pain can subside n back recover after a few hours
I'm stumped as to where to start looking for info?. So wondered if any lively hukdrs had any suggestions how/where i might able to get info on any possible options 4 me. And the cheapest!!!! Appreciated! (edited)

Collect Avios, use them to redeem a business seat.

Thinking about going for the first time and as a solo traveler what’s the best accommodation?

    Appreciate any help

It's ALL expensive and I've used both hotels and Air BnB. There's no shortage of choice but accept the fact it'll be pricey.

I was offered a bed in a 'dormitory for Chinese workers' for $1 a night when I missed my return flight but politely declined and ended up in a relative's front room for $45 instead! (edited)

You will need a mortgage to go New York, family of 4 cost us £8k all together for 5 days

You must have been 'living it large' to spend that much in 5 days! Yes it's expensive and the weak pound doesn't help but you can do a week for a sensible (sort of) amount.........
