Yes it looks too good to be true but I bought one and it works just as described. I have the tiny official dongle as well to compare with. Plug and play with Windows 11. Hold the pair button and do the same with the controller. Pairs no problem. One thing to note, it is a chunky USB adapter. This is not the official adapter.

Audio works as shown in the images with wired earphones and a microphone.

    Nabbed one when this was posted. I use my Xbox controller on PC using bluetooth but been using it wired for quite sometime now due to latency issues (not always but at times). Also missed the audio part. I actually did not read the details just bought it as I knew for £2.99 its would be Gone in 60 seconds :P

    Can I use this for my wireless headset and controller at the same time? Or does it only allow for one kind of device connection?

    I don't have one to test but it says not supported over at Amazon

    【Excellent Performance】Adapter supports synchronization of up to 8 wireless controllers, and supports the use of wired chat headsets. Note: These headsets are only supported under Windows 10 system, and wireless connection headsets are not supported.

    Bluetooth doesn't support multiple controllers, audio and latency/range isn't as good. (edited)

    It's not required if you have Bluetooth. But if you want audio/multiple controllers, Bluetooth won't give you either.

    I wasn't aware anyone had cloned the propriatary protocol, even on aliexpress etc all the xbox dongles are just bluetooth ones.

    It's definitely not Bluetooth. Looking at the device info I couldn't tell this apart from the official one. (edited)

    Anyone comment on if there's any addition drivers to download or is everyone using this Plug n Play style? Adapter works out of the box with no download needed but guess just want to be extra sure.

    It's plug and play on Windows 11 at least. There's no need installing different drivers unless you have issues. (edited)
