I just ordered this directly from nintendo for £59. Does anyone know if I can cancel the order?

    Nintendo probably knows.

In some of the Q&A some have said that in works in windows. Some say not so well. What are your thoughts? Should I get this for the kids to play steam gams and epic games etc.

I have used my Pro controller on Steam, but there is compatibility issues on Epic games if I remember correctly. Personally I would just get an Xbox controller for PC gaming

I would suggest an 8bitdo and a xbox or ps controller especially if you already have one.

I keep on thinking the same thing but do you think there would be any input lag at all?

Have these went up in price? Paid £45 for it on Amazon years ago.

I paid £27 in Tesco last year. Week later it was £13.50. Not sure why the price is still so high.

Have to say out of all the controllers I’ve used across different platforms I find this the most comfortable.

Same price as Very for those with an account with them.

Or buy a used one on Ebay for around £30. (edited)

And risk having it be a counterfeit, or even if not, have the sticks drift faster because it's used? No thanks. (edited)

Yeah get that, the one I got was fine. Let's face it, 50 -60 quid isnt small change. But it's all down to personal choice.

Too expensive for what it is.
    cameron.carter's avatar
Why? It's comparable in price to a PS5 Dualshock or a Series S/Series X controller, and it's a phenominal controller at that. What makes it overpriced?

If you are here because you bought Splatoon and wondering wether the pro would make your game any better, the answer is yes (edited)

Worth getting the 8 bit done ultimate instead? Can't remember if that has the motion controls or not though.

OOS it seems! I really need a controller!

    Get the 8bitdo pro 2

could someone recommend a reasonable but cheap controller for my 10 year old? She's not asked for one but it would mean others could join in a bit more for multi-player games. She currently uses the standard joycons. I don't want to drop a wedge on something that doesn't get used much, but I also didn't want to buy something that is useless. Easy charging would also be a benefit...

I've looked on amazon and there are stacks on there but I don't trust all tge 'reviews'!

    TIA
