    I was offered £75 for the Note 9. I queried this with O2 as the website clearly shows guaranteed £150 for any phone. They confirmed that I would get £150 by email. It was also confirmed that I would get the additional £150 for purchasing the X5 Pro. The email is elsewhere in this thread.

    Definitely not 150+150. Checked with o2 and its standard £150 extra on o2 recycle value. Customer advisor messaging the OP clearly isn't on the ball at all lol

    Can anyone suggest cheap phone I can buy off cex/ebay without losing much on the trade in?
    I'm planning to get this deal done in store which means I wont get a chance to create a backup of my phone. Plus they're offering £113 base value and cex is offering £178. If I can buy a cheap sub £60 & if they offer even £40, it'll still be cost effective & I can backup mine properly.

    For those who have traded in, do you have to send everything including box, charger, headphone etc or would the phone by itself suffice.

    Lastly, i'f i'm quoted £0 but the phone is still there on their list, do i still get the £150 bonus trade in as i have a couple of phones lying around. (edited)

    All they want is the phone itself, and the guy made sure that it still actually works, turns off and back on, and wiped the phone, as for the value, not quite sure, but it might be on their website and you could try the O2 recycle page to get a value of your older phone. You can back certain items up with Google, or connect to a pc and copy content off, that's what I did for music

    I had the black one, only one they had, my partner also decided to go for this as well, and again, only had black, would of been nice for her to have the white, but the phone does come with a case which is dark grey colour

    I have actually had £300 confirmed as trade in (£150 for any phone plus £150 extra for buying the Oppo phone). I am not sure why the title has been amended. Actually £290 with trade in (edited)

    Yes, just talked to o2 for the past 2 hours and even they were confused because of the wording, but the conclusion they came to speaking to their managers etc. was it'll be £150 extra ontop of trading value for the phone for a x5 pro, and both £150 gifts in checkout are the same gift, the representative OP spoke to will probably have to be held responsible if they give him £300

    Also to add, I have spoken to o2 recycle too and they said the same thing, and OP email screenshot it seems that he managed to convince the representative to either change the value of his device to £150, or after they receive and process the phone they will correct it to the £70. Either way that guaranteed £150 is the same as the extra £150, you can see that by clicking on it too.

    Still a good offer at £441 with a trade

    To answer my own question. It’s not ‘any’ it must have value above £0 to get the £150 ‘extra’.

    Extra £150: Get an extra £150 when you buy the OPPO X5 Or OPPO X5 Pro directly from O2 on an: (1) O2 Refresh tariff between 29.12.22 and 05.04.23, (2) complete the order process with O2 Recycle between 29.12.22 and 05.04.23 with a trade-in device which has a value over £0 on O2 Recycle; and (3) complete your trade in by returning your device to O2 Recycle so it is received by 26.04.23 (making sure you have registered the trade in by 12.04.23). Extra £150 may be paid separately to standard O2 Recycle payment.

    Yes its extra £150 on top of Trade in value and it will be paid by 02 separately. Trade in value are not good so you need extra 150 and dont forget hard serach will be done on credit file (edited)

    Only things wrong with my P30 Pro are single SIM and no 5G (which isn't a biggie as no 5G where I live and work) (edited)

    You have to have a refresh deal, cheapest is £18, but you can cancel after 24 hours, so the whole deal costs £609, still a good deal in my opinion as it's £800 everywhere else

    Went in store and picked this deal up. Traded iPhone x 64gb for £90 + £150 on top given as part of the promotion. Purchased monthly rolling contract at £18 pm (cheapest). £591 minus £240, paid £301 on card and £50 left on credit, as they can only accept £550 max. Cancelled rolling contract next day, O2 rep stated i wont be charged. Remaining balance of £50 can be cleared in one go from O2 app.
