Trouble is they usually bump the adult price up to compensate for the free child place.

sometimes, but I have seen various cheap deals in the past on TUI/Holiday Hypermarket where they have dropped the price and not removed the free child place.

however something to watch out for sure as no doubt some will inflate prices

Should be 'kid goes free' not 'kids go free'.

I wouldn't dare book with TUI ever again. Having to take them to court just to get refunded for me and my families flights home after we were left abandoned on the return leg of our package holiday last year. Customer service is SHOCKING

How old does the child have to be?
    beeb123's avatar
In the current climate, around 35 years old if they're still living at home

I'll be booking a family holiday next year; 2 adults, 2 children and 2 grandparents are going.

We will be booking 2 rooms. Are there any issues splitting 1 child into each room to claim 2 free child places?

It will all be booked as one and one room will be upgraded to accommodate 2 adults and 2 children.

One Tui rep said it would invalidate some kind of insurance and another said it was fine, that's how she would book it.

    Cheers!

No issues, just book however they want you to, but once you are at the hotel, split everyone up how you want. They'll never know or care

Can someone tell me what website is good to book through. Also any recommendations on destinations and hotels for a family. I’ve absolutely no idea as I’ve not been anywhere in years and I’m hoping to grab a deal for end of next week. Would love an AI ( my kid will want a 1000 ice creams a day no doubt) Thanks

If you like skiing then Crystal Ski (part of TUI) do free kids places here that are not on the TUI site crystalski.co.uk/ski…ces

TUI once refused me a refund on my plane seats when they changed the plane and my wife and I ended up separated by an aisle. Apparently that still counts as "sat next to each other" and TUI were willing to argue that at great length, all for £19.
