Is the TCL 65C635K at £469 worth the extra £88 considering it's QLED from the same seller?

I got the 55C728K (QLED) a few weeks back and I'm entirely happy with it considering the price - I'd like a LG C1/2 but that's another £500+.

It's clearly bare bones software wise (basic Android TV 9) but if you don't overload it with apps, I've turned off preview video in the menu too, seems fine but I've got a FireTV as back up. The built in Chromecast is neat too, casting the Oculus works a charm.

Main "negative" is the HDMI are limited to 60Hz, I suspect the panel can do 100/120Hz so I guess apps could drive it at that speed but meh. It's only 350nits too. (edited)

Ordered the QLED for the little bit extra. I'm not into gaming and I use a Nvidia Shield for my TV streaming so this should do the job nicely ta.

Seems like a great tv. Mine arrived yesterday from ordering saturday but the one reason I am buying is to use as a pc screen. Everything looks great until you try to run 4K resolution. The signal just doesn't get there and you can't see anything above 1920x1080 (1080p)((2k))

I would suggest that is a product wide fault too.

If you are not using it for pc, I did test it on the Youtube app that is built in and that seemed to play a 4K video. Of course, I have no way to verify it did display 4K.

I eventually moved to a HISENSE from argos and even that was the same. However, I went the extra mile to rule it out and bought an 8K HDMI 2.1 lead and the tv now works in 4K @ 60hz. Funny thing the lead I have has to be at least 2.0 because the very first 50" worked at 4K @ 60hz. I have also since upgraded my graphics card to a 3060 RTX and same, running nicely in 4K 60hz.
