I already have the adobe software but I find Canva super simple for social media posts etc. I’ve been using the free version for a while but get increasingly frustrated how much they keep adding to the Pro version. So I’ve managed to sign up for Canva pro using a Turkish VPN.

I know it’s not as cheap as you would normally expect but it’s definitely better than the usual £99.99 per year/ £9.99pm.

Let me know if anyone knows a cheaper way to get the Pro version though!

seeing lots of FB shorts showing using canva for some side hustles, can someone here share some views if that is possible and any pointers in the spirit of moneysaving (earning)

most sidehustles are a waste of time mate, just to garner views.

IMO you are MUCH better off spending time improving your main income.

2ndly, get a "honest" but proven side hustle. Gardening, car washing, something that has a local client base that is easily set up.

Too many people watch tiktok and fb shorts and get told all about side hustles and "multiple income streams"

99% of it is absolute rubbish.

Millionaires do have 7 streams of income, but the vast majority did one thing well and used the resulting money to diversify. They didnt become a millionaire running 7 side hustles.

I still find the whole subscription software a repulsive rip off, considering Android apps used to be cheaper than the current monthly cost.. for a one off lifetime fee (in a lot of cases). Some people are making a lot more money than they used too!

Agreed. I'm seeing some nonsense things moving to subscription model.

E.g. long term bike use. Subscription model where you pay monthly and keep the bike at home. Bonkers.

Couldn’t get this to work with Windscribe VPN (turkey & India). Tried both on desktop and iOS app 🥲. Showed up either in GBP or at best, USD

Oh okay! I used Nord. I logged out of my already set up account connected the VPN and googled ‘canva turkey’ as it kept taking me to the GB site and then just proceeded with ‘try canva pro’.

Quick heads up. . . Unlike other deals that require purchasing via a VPN, this violates Canva's T&Cs.

Now whether anyone has actually been booted off a sub for doing so I couldn't tell you.

Search for VPN on google and get one that allows you to try it for free. Use that to place your location in Turkey and then sign up.

Do you need to use a VPN every time to log in and use the account or once paid and logged in you can be anywhere ie U.K.

If you bought from the UK and went on holiday abroad would you expect to need to use a VPN to access the software?

But to answer the question, no you won't need a VPN to use the account

For some reason it works until the payment page, then it does not recognize my credit card and shows me an error code. Anyone else has the same problem?

It worked for me. Went through without an issue. I used my existing free account, went to upgrade, payment page and submitted payment all while on VPN.
