sorted byi'm also waiting on apple which will probably be too expensive and meta to see what there VR hardware is like you won't get the game franchises that sony have but it all depends how much effort sony puts into VR
As for buying an Apple VR.... I expect it will come with a hefty price tag and won't be targeted at gamers. More for "pro" users and enthusiasts with money to burn.
GT7 is an incredible experience and if you like racing games, it's worth it.
The biggest surprise for me was how social the gaming actually is. Even if it's only 'songle player' watching someone fight themselves with the headset on and watching the action on TV is surprisingly entertaining.
I will bite once they can work on PC. (edited)

It also had over 40 games available at launch, and there are over 100 in development. That's underwhelming to you . Okey dokes.
Quest 2 has its technical limits (although it is untethered and portable) but Meta have at least guaranteed cross-platform compatability across their generations.
I'm not buying yet another headset and investing hundreds of pounds in software only to be told, once again, "Sorry but can you buy all these again on PS6? Ta."
PSVR2 has the widely used inside-out tracking system and standard motion controls.
So if there's a PSVR3, it would be a LOT easier to make it BC with the PSVR2 games.
There are also a number of devs who've upgraded their PSVR1 games to PSVR2 for free. It's up to the devs, not Sony.

Everyone who has a ps5 and can afford it, should get it.
IF it had at least some backwards compatability. Most of the PSVR games I own won't work on the new system (a couple do at least have free upgrades), and I'm not going to either bin them or spend more for the privilege of being able to carry on playing games that I already own.
Sony have shot themselves in the foot with this. I'm sure I'm not the only one who's going to stick with the original PSVR (edited)
Hope they redo Resi 1 in the new engine

one thing that stood out to me on reviews was that many reviewers felt the oculus was built as a VR unit and you can feel this through all the menus etc…. The psv2 however is described as more of a bolt on…. Want to be sure that there are enough games and commitment from sony on this as it is a huge layout…. Also wanted to ensure i didnt get too motion sick before investing in a very expensive set lol
