    Why's it quicker to fly from Glasgow? I'd have thought it would be a longer flight from Glasgow. Even so, the thought of over 9 hours on a plane would give me anxiety these says. I'd need to go first class with a bed to cope with it.

    Great circle route. I'd recommend extra legroom, really comfy, good size tv with plenty choice, food was as good as any scheduled airline, they werent shy with drinks and I got off the plane in Mexico feeling like we'd just drive to the shops pretty much!

    Manchester flight is not a none stop flight and costs £688+ so not quite as good a deal.

    Cancun airport is horrendous.
    I've been going to Mexico for 10 years.
    Last 2 tines 2/3 hours getting off plane to coach as total disorganised mess first at immigration, then at baggage claim then finding end of line to go through the scanner.
    Won't be going again as a result unfortunately

    Cancun is very busy, it is one of the most busy airports in the world now. Unfortunately as you say, the terminal that TUI serves has very little room for immigration and the officers there almost ignore you. And when you have managed to get your suitcase in another packed out area, you then run the lottery of another suitcase search if you press the random button and get a red light.
