Good price but worse customer than even virgin media. Never ever again

It is automatic cashback. I don't understand why you would want to contact Customer Service unless of course you haven't received your automatic cashback after 90 days.

Chancers. Took out a contract with them a while back with good 4g coverage. Then they said I'd be without 4g for a few weeks because they needed to upgrade the local mast. Then it never came back on and after months of chasing they said they had no plans to turn it back on. Finally argued a cancellation without penalty for loss of service then they turned it back on 6 months after I left. Oh and they kept chasing me for unpaid bills because their complaints team never communicate with the debt collection team. Never again. 🤦

Do three charge all their plans the £2 roaming charge per day?
gobble_bobble
No. Not all plans have a £2 roaming charge in Europe. Take a look on their site and educate yourself.

Is Three 5G faster than O2.
I am on Sky and tested 5g only tracking 10mbps download although it is with full bar
And if it is on 5G router would it be faster than 5g capable handset
Please. (edited)

Generally, yes, but location specific

Any idea when this deal will expire?
chrish22022
Can't see anything definitive but the last time this deal was on it was posted 22nd March and the last comment was from someone who ordered it on 4th April so I would expect similar this time.

This is the cheapest unlimited data to date. I know the customer service is hit and miss, but this seems hot.

I can’t see the deal when I go to the link, even looking their sim only deals there is nothing there ?
What the Europe roaming situation with this sim please?
zulfib
Limited to about 5.5Gb and you have to pay £2 / day standing charge each day you use data (edited)

How is Three 5g service compared with EE in London? Thanks
nathjh
Whenever I’ve been in London. My 5g has been perfect. This was in King’s Cross area, Camden (didn’t work so great in the middle of Camden market on a very busy Saturday) Mayfair was fine. When it works, the 5g in my area is fantastic as well. They’re working on the mast once a week though so I’ve got minimal signal and 3G only.
zulfib
Their H+ days is faster than their 5G.

Just to check, as smarty piggy backs off three, am I right to assume if I have smarty and very good network where I live, it's almost certain then that the three network will be the same of even better?
Manos_de_diamante
Yes
mikspe
Got this last month. So far I’m really pleased. I seem to get 5G in most places and good speeds. I ditched three 31/2 years ago cos they were shocking.

No mobile data on Three since last week in Kingston on Thames London. Worst Mobile network. No visibility when network will go down or come back (edited)

I'm in Fife and already have an ID SIM that uses three's network. Although I'm not even in the coverage area for 5G, I consistently get ~400mbps, but only 2mbps up. Currently paying TalkTalk ~40 quid a month for 70mbps, so I'm seriously considering this with the SIM capable router also on dealnews today. Just need to test if it's real-world desktop usable.

3 no good in terms of cash back

Are these guys still playing hardball on roaming? Despite their subsidiaries giving it free?
vixmony
What kind of credit check is involved? I assume it's a soft check?
Markieusa
I am well pleased. Hit 750mbps today in Fife. This is where you can't even get broadband beyond 72mbps yet. Wired connection to the zyxel router and found a sweet spot for -85dbM with this SIM. I will be ditching my ISP [Talktalk] forthwith.
nikina
I received the SIM yesterday, it works in my phone but not getting recognised in my Zyxel NR103e 5g router.
Did anyone face something similar?
Markieusa
I have the same router and the only thing I can think of is that you aren't using a micro SIM adapter in the router, whereas the phone is nano? I had to grab a supermarket SIM card to use the plastic shroud as an adapter when I tested with an ID SIM, but this 3 SIM went into the router and worked like a charm first time.

Is it only me who is charged £26(confirmed by Three support) per month on this "deal"?
Markieusa
Nope! - mine is £40.26 and I've been wondering why. Bait and switch?
