SIM arrived yesterday for this and speeds better than I expected. Currently with EE but leaving as just daft costs. At the moment this offer ticks the boxes. (edited)

I've been with ID for almost a year. Very happy.
I moved from Three, so it's the same signal, but I'm paying a lot less and the rollover is a great bonus

Offer is great because of roaming but ID Mobile runs on 3 Network so check signal in your interest areas.

Currently pay £8 for unlimited minutes/texts and 30gb of data with 3 directly. 1 month rolling. No Eau roaming though. If interested try it with their customer service - I’ve got my wife and dad on the same deal.

ID do the same deal, with EU roaming, so I'd opt there personally.

£10 for 30gb roaming in Europe is a good deal.

£10 for 70gb on Three network in the UK is a terrible deal.

Are the speeds restricted on all these networks that piggy back the main networks
    KodaBear's avatar
Nope. Not restricted. Just deprioritised especially at times and locations of network congestion.

Any use for Apple Watch cellular?

    What’s their customer service like

There’s no phone number for them. It’s all online only. And they are owned by Currys. So I’ll let you make your own mind up about that one.

I pay £8 for unlimited calls and text, and 50gb of data with ID. It was a black Friday deal last year, which needed a little negotiating with them on chat. Great network, no issues. (edited)

Bit strange that new customers can use up to 30gb abroad but old customers gb is based on the monthly payment table. I'd have expected it to be the other way around

But turkey not on there list I have I'd unlimited and in Turkey then roaming does not work here and it's 1.50 per GB be carefully
    Kiran_Kumar's avatar
any suggestions for non-roaming Turkey package?

Why do you have to go through a credit check for 1 month rolling contract ? Thought this deal was the same as PayG
    g-diddy's avatar
You get billed monthly and the payment is taken 14 days later by Direct Debit.

It is not like other networks like Smarrty, Voxi or GiffGaff where you store a debit card and they take the payment at the start of every 30 days when the package starts.

I think ID allow you to make chargeable calls for example, and these will be billed to you and taken by direct debit, after they have sent you a bill. It is very similar how most the other big networks operate, where you get a bill, whether you are on a SIM Only contract or one with a phone included.

It is however still a 30 day contract and will just receive a final bill after you have left.

In some respects it can be good for your credit rating, as it will show you are maintaining your account with them and should show this up on your credit file. (edited)
