Is this the cheapest price so far?
    Supi's avatar
No, this was £124.99 in November 2018 but it is the cheapest it’s been for a while.

Very good deal, although always have a look out for a Thrustmaster T300 over this

Stronger Motor so it can properly self right for drifting

full 1080 degrees lock to lock (Logitech is 900 I believe) bit more realistic

Belt driven, much smoother and without the dead zone in the center when you are between the gears

    heat for the deal!

You are right, but with the Logitech hub you can make a fake 1080, just I see a issue in the Dakar game, for dirt, assetto, F1 etc etc is working as supposed

Do you need a clamp or will this fix to a desk/table easily?
    Supi's avatar
The wheel has its own built in clamp.

Can be shown here: Click here approx 2 mins 30 secs in the video.

What’s difference between playstation version and xbox version if used only for PC?

The G29 (PS4 version) has an RPM LED indicator for shifting and an extra button (the red circle knob) for adjusting traction control which the G920 (Xbox version) doesn't have otherwise they are the same wheel, so it's essentially a better wheel for the same price if you're playing on PC,

Still overpriced for an 8 year old wheel now

Great price for a good wheel setup.

Fantastic price for a very capable bit of kit.

Fantastic wheel for the price! Heat from me.

Great starter wheel, I don't think it's really worth spending more money as if you spend more you might as make the jump to fanatec, if you find you really love racing games with a wheel you'll make that jump eventually, if you don't really love racing games with a wheel then no point spending more than you need to.

Gutted it’s out of stock now. I bought this for the same price around Black Friday time last year, but cancelled my order (had a moment of “can I _really_ afford this?”) but regretted cancelling it ever since.

Heat added for spotting the deal. The G920 is still on offer though, but I wanted the G29 as it supports both PC and PS.

Edit: it’s back in stock! I’ve taken the plunge and ordered it. (edited)

Mine arrived this afternoon, set it up literally as soon as I switched the work laptop off and gave it a spin on F1 2022, very impressed.
Almost disappointed with myself for not buying one sooner, especially for cancelling the order last time.

Only problem is the pedals are somewhat larger than I expected, so I need to make a space for them to live when it’s not in use or I’ll be left foot braking while I’m on Teams calls for work!

    This or G923?
    Supi's avatar
The only difference to this and the G923 is slight changes to the force feedback. I personally would go for this given the £130 (currently) price difference.

Not seen a lower price in some time now. Good bit of kit.

Decent price - at this end of the market you cant go wrong.
