You may be able to tune the 5800x for more performance if you have good cooling and are not fussed about consumption.
Both a great CPU's though.
How much cheaper will these get to purchase new?
What happened to 1700, 1800, 2700, 2800, 3700, 3800?
I see the 3600 available for about £75 new, and that's nearly 5600 performance. We even see deals for it on hukd.
So, yeah, what happened to retail 3700, 3800 etc? The 3700 still appears to cost about £300 new. Is it because it is not "for the people" like the 3600 is for, that AMD just decided it didn't want to bother making any more?
