Anyone who actually owns one can comment on the real world mpg?

We have the 1.6 N-Line S. Only drive in eco mode, mix of short and motorway journeys, get about 34mpg. Like the car, but not great fuel economy.

If anyone has any general questions, please ask, i have the ultimate plug-in, but my cousin has the above model, so I might be able to help

Speaking on my version, best SUV I've driven for the money, test drove the rav, glb, mazda, kia but none of them compared

I also have the plug-in (premium) model as a company car and it’s by far the best SUV I’ve had on like for like vehicles from other manufacturers.

I get 37-40 miles on full charge which is enough for my 12 mile commute to work, the smart cruise control is on another level, it will be a shame when it goes back.

I'm going to be that guy. ACTSHOOLEE it's pronounced hyon (no vowel after "h" and the "o" is also a bit "u" sounding); dae ("day" with a nearly silent y) - the Korean script is phonetic so you can nearly always see exactly how to pronounce the word by reading the script. (edited)

Drove the Tucson ultimate for 3 days, a very impressive car, very nice to drive, best this year.
The vauxhall grandland x i was not impressed with.

The MG was really nice but the turning circle was awful in that.

Had a leased Tucson, really loved it. Thinking of buying a 1 year old Grandland, what didn't impress you about it?

They should have used "C" for "Cylinder" injection instead of "D" for "Direct" so that everyone would stop being confused what fuel it takes. Pretty widespread problem.

Petrol/diesel in 2023? No thanks. (edited)

Personally I agree. But not everyone can go ev. All I'd say is if you're going petrol, diesel or hybrid then do so knowing what cons come with it. Don't come on here saying hybrids etc are just as good as evs. It just shows they don't know about their own car.

If yiu are in full knowledge and can't go ev yet, then cool.

COLD - NEVER buy a new car, you lose loads of money as soon as you drive it off the forecourt! Always buy used no matter what
    grumpyadam's avatar

Depends on the age. Some people are buying a used car for similar money to what they can get a brand new one with a discount like this deal. Also new cars quite often come with low rate finance whereas the rates most dealers offer on second hand cars is very high.
Personally I bought both our current cars at around 4 years of age (10 years old now) and it's worked out great value. However used car prices are really steep at the moment so I'd consider going new on a PCP in the future.

Phev. Eeek. Almost as bad for the environment as the petrpl version. But if that's not on yoir concerns then no worries.

I've been calling it hy-un-dye 20 year ago, than came in this country to be told it's pronounced something else, then something else again, now we're back to where it started.

It won't look anything like that one in the pictures though with little undersized wheels and flat paint. The basic one might have a small screen in the space where a large screen should be as well.

Had a premium mild hybrid version of this but sold it recently as I wasn’t using it enough. It was a lovely car but it did drink the petrol. I could have lived with that though cos it was such a nice car. Trouble is they are so easy to spot on the roads and I now feel a bit jealous each time I see one! (edited)

Hybrids omg. And aa mild one at that. Now I'm sure it's a lovely car but all I ever ask is you buy things knowing what they are. Mild hybrids amhave almost no differences in efficiency or environment to the petrol version
