i can confirm i've received quidco's '100%' cashback on this before.
Do everything in an incognito window with no plugins (no adblocks etc) and you should be fine.
    Vertron's avatar
    Why incognito?
  2. Willy_Wonka's avatar
Has anyone actually received cashback for this?

It is an offer that comes & goes.

It is touch and go. Some members confirmed that they got the cashback and some complaints that they didn't. Sometimes it's a lottery with Quidco.
I thought price is decent even without the cashback.

I've got 15 months left to run from last deal, can I add another 2 years on top? Anyone tried that?
    pwel's avatar
I don't think you can get the cashback anyway in an existing account, so I don't see the reason to top up now. These offers appear regularly. (edited)

Mullvad if you want to trust the vpn to not store your data.

Amex has 10% cashback for NordVPN too.

Thanks. Curve card has 4.2% cashback on it for NordVPN

Doesn’t much matter with Quidco whether it’s 85% or 100%.
The reality is likely to be 0%.
    benfisher1991's avatar
Had it twice (not 100%). Just made different accounts.

Be warned. I got this last year through Quidco. My cashback was rejected, I appealed and it's been rejected again. To add insult to injury the Windows app is constantly crashing.
    MontyGibbon's avatar
Their Android app has been a nightmare too. Nord's had me jumping through hoops...

many comments on wether this will pay out or not - I can say I purchased in Mid Feb and was paid out end of April

How does this compare to the Google VPN?
    mmachine's avatar
dont know never tried that one but have been with nord for well over a year with no probs,if its still the same i think they allow you 6 devices to be connected
  11. Feejus's avatar
In comparison to MullvadVPN, my experience with NordVPN was not as satisfactory. Mullvad VPN felt consistently faster in terms of both connecting to the VPN and overall speed performance. However, one advantage of NordVPN is the extensive geographical coverage it offers.
    diegopants's avatar
I just checked out mullvad VPN it is a bit pricey compared to the big name ones out there

How do you avoid paying the VAT?
Going through Totum and obtaining a voucher, the price comes out to:-

    Feejus's avatar
Yes, change to USA and you need a state which has no Sales tax. you also need a postcode but that is when google is your friend. These are the state with out sales tax or as we call them VAT.

Alaska, Delaware, Montana, New Hampshire, and Oregon
  13. antsgame's avatar
I had NordVPN not the best experience in my eyes. Used it all sorts of devices. I got 💯 back from quidco when I had it last.
    Vertron's avatar
I've never had any issues with NordVPN.
  14. Newbold's avatar
TCB cashback - fine. You'll probably get paid.

But Quidco cashback? No thanks - caught far too many times. Possible = Extremely Unlikely.
    coony's avatar
It's crazy, I've experienced the same, but it shouldn't be the case since Quidco and Topcashback merged a few years back

If it's Quidco it is gambling lol (edited)

mullvad shill here, practically the only vpn company to trust (and support)

    Agreed.

100% cashback minus V.A.T. and charges.

Correct. Quidco don not pay cashback on VAT on any purchases.
  19. Artorias's avatar
Mullvad is the only one I trust. Nord etc are fine I’m sure, but I like that Mullvad you can just top up to use it for a month, same price regardless, no buying and committing for years and when they had the police come recently they left empty handed has Mullvad actually keep zero user information at all.
They even revealed recently that these “top VPN” listings reached out to them to try sell them a position as they still had 5th available to buy. These big VPNs are buying those rankings.
    Feejus's avatar
I agree with you overall. As you mentioned, Mullvad is highly reliable, and I personally used it during my extended holiday in Asia, where it performed flawlessly. However, one feature that sets NordVPN apart is its extensive geographic coverage, which Mullvad lacks
  20. jakehume's avatar
Do not do this deal if you expect 100% cashback. They will make you wait a minimum of 6 months on a claim for an answer, way past your cancellation period, and will never track, as nordvpn payment is on an external website anyway.
  21. pijus.paul's avatar
Just your daily reminder to stay away from nordvpn. You wont even be able to delete your account if you dont have access to your card details you used to buy the subscription years ago.

Has anyone had luck signing up for a new account having previously gotten cashback through Quidco? Only my account runs out next week!
    Vertron's avatar
Yes twice, one 3 years ago and the other a year ago.
  25. moody's avatar
Moved from pia to Nord - ive found the Nord app is much more buggy and regularly crashes compared to PIA, which just worked
    Seeel's avatar
Did you mean you moved from Nord to PIA?
  26. wakkaday's avatar
does this have good privacy or is data shared with the five eyes ?
    Sawb's avatar
Its so strange to me, the consensus is if you aren't paying them obviously you cant trust them, then a supposedly legit company like nord say hey we will let you have it for free
  27. cts's avatar
Upon registering if we choose a country with 0% tax is there any chance that we don't get the cachback?
    Newbold's avatar
Not sure about that - but there is of course the chance of prosecution for VAT fraud, given that transactions are reported to HMRC.
  28. Vertron's avatar
Very nice deal, I've still got a year left on my last 100% cashback NordVPN deal. I'll be on the lookout when mines close to expiring.

Is it possible to buy this, claim the cashback but not activate it for another year? (edited)
    shonkygeeza's avatar
From what I have read above it's not for existing customers
  29. diddytitz's avatar
Then all your.info is stored with them, lol. They say they don't, but who really knows. Who needs a vpn really? To watch American netflix or hulu. Or is it for the darkweb users

To access sites where I can download all the TV series, films, music and software for free.
Could use Opera's built in free VPN, but speeds are awful.
  30. mmachine's avatar
i would not trust quidco at all, never got paid cashback for car insurance i took out ,go with them at your peril, but thats jusy my experience of them
    shonkygeeza's avatar
Now I feel exactly the same as topcashback
  31. chris846's avatar
    85% cashback now
  32. The.Fat.Cat's avatar
Anyone used PureVPN? Pretty cheap, but guessing there's a reason for that, lol.
Have been with Nord for 5 years but not keen on their prices (and don't trust quidco).

    EDIT:
Having looked into them, not too bad.
They do a 5 year subscription for around £1.10 a Month. Guess that ends my relationship with Nord, lol. (edited)
    diegopants's avatar
I don't know where you found purevpn for £1.10 a month for 5 years . I just looked the max they do is 2 years ?
  33. Curtis_Adams's avatar
Has anyone ever used atlas vpn?
    The.Fat.Cat's avatar
    Had a look at them.
Looks like speeds and streaming subscription services are decent, but privacy could be an issue.
They don't have security audits (so no one is actually checking up on whether they are keeping any info on you), they have a limited number of servers compared to others, and they are based in the US so you have the 5 Eyes intelligence alliance to think about.

If you were thinking about using one of their paid subscriptions, there are better options.
  34. pijus.paul's avatar
Nordvpn is a scam company (edited)

How often do these 100% cashback deals come about? Just subscribed to Netflix Turkey via Hola VPN (free) and I’ve used up my ‘free’ minutes

wouldnt mind a VPN especially close enough to free so I can watch Netflix before the geo lock expires in a month
