I'd love an electric car but none of the roads around here have got the slot in them.

Only because there's so many about, I loved the styling of these back in 2016

But I love the styling of my LS430 more and that's been around a little longer

If you applied that prediction to mobile phones you'd never have ever bought one then.

RWD model doesn't go that fast.

Can you thrash an electric motor?

All the people that comment on the deals for cars they hate, do they switch the TV over to watch shows they hate?

Thanks OP but these are so expensive to insure that Musk has started his own insurance company for them. They also incredible expensive to maintain , that insurance companies often write them off, when fairly new and little damage, as they are so expensive to repair.

So it is not just the purchase price, factor in super car maintenance costs.

    Nonsense.

    Expensive to maintain how?

I pay £460 a year to insure the dual motor model (edited)

If you want to see how expensive and unreliable Teslas are take a look at the guy who fixes them on grubermotorsshorts on YouTube or Gruber motors on TicToc

Are you just here to troll?

The guy repairs old Tesla with a million miles on them.

Is there a YouTube channel for old ICE cars? Oh, yes, hundreds, one being Car Wizard. Just cost someone $4k to fix an oil leak on a Ford 2.5l engine.

"The guy repairs old Tesla with a million miles on them"

He repairs mostly new Teslas that have broken within warrantee.

Why would someone pay to fix a car under warranty?

Are you actually reading what you are putting?

It is Warranty, not warrantee also.

You cannot have it both ways, you claim Teslas don't go wrong and the American Gruber fix high mileage Teslas.

The fact is he fixes new Teslas under warranty and makes modifications to them to fix their design flaws, like putting the second little battery in the boot where you can get at it, and not hidden under the wheel well in the front.

He fixes Teslas that are out of warranty too. The build quality is known to be bad and if you have a prang the parts are expensive.

The security and 360 vision is fantastic , the torque and excelleration is brilliant but the cars are work in progress and at the moment as I understand it costs more over the life of the vehicle than a petrol or diesel car.

As opposed to a Prius, which are reliable and cheaper.

At least compare to an electric car, like the Leaf

But anyway, to keep this short and easy to understand:

    American made cars = bad
    Chinese made cars = good
