Cashback is definitely offered via Blue Light Card. But website gives me 10% off, instead discount of £200.

Does the £200 cashback replace the free buds2 Pro, £300 adidas voucher and free case? Was going to cancel and reorder this but guess similar monetary value.

Correct, the cashback doesn't include the freebies from the old offer

Would any cashback sites invalidate the £200 cashback claim from Samsung? Very tempting with this deal.

Don't think so but you then can't go through unidays/ student discount as cashback would take you to the main website for it to track (edited)

What's the rationale for making people claim cashback rather than just reducing the price by £200?

I'm looking to sign-up to Totum Pro to access this - can anyone confirm the 512GB Graphite is still starting at £1119 via that?
I can currently get the 512GB for £1199 via EPP, (or £1049 for the 256GB) but this might be worth the sub to Totum...

You can also add 1 months insurance for free at the checkout if you want to. Glad to see this is confirmed, shame such a long wait for the graphite. Don't forget, you will only have 9 days to claim cashback if your graphite phone is delivered on 21st June

I just bought a cheap smartphone on ebay, but I don't know its imei at the moment. What I'm wondering is that if I order the s23 ultra now, it asks me for imei, if I enter a random imei, will there be a problem because it will be different with the one I send later?
    hoopy09's avatar
    hoopy09
I have changed it before with no issue. The trade in team will send you an email. Just reply to that saying you made a mistake with IMEI number, give them the correct IMEI and they change it for you.

BLC is still showing the 512 gb Graphite version at £1049 with £150 trade in but Switchys screenshot shows totum getting it for £969. BLC haven't price matched yet as some posts suggest, unless I'm missing something?... (edited)

BLC, Perks etc have now fixed their offer this afternoon to the extent it now matches what is says it is. Full price is £1,399.. Then £200 off and £150 trade in down to £1,049. Then £200 cashback to £849.

Though the student deal that is the subject of this thread is still lower with the numbers in the title.

Why in the name of Jehovah do these things have to be so complicated?
Can they not just straight up offer a 30℅ discount and sell 10s of thousands of the things instead of this nonsense of well if you apply this code then sell this to that and stand Ion your head before going on this site to apply that (all on the 3rd Tuesday of every month) and add a DNA sample at checkout before singing the Belarusian national anthem............jaysus

This is probably not really better than the last promotion where you got FREE case and FREE earbuds + £300 Adidas voucher.

I get that some people may just want the phone for as cheap as an outlay as possible and this new cashback might work for them.

However, overall as a deal the previous one was probably a better deal (if that makes sense)

For example. The earbuds pro2 alone after £70 cashback would cost you £127 via BLC now

so 512GB via BLC Adidas offer

    Phone £1199 less min trade £150 = £1049 + FREE case + FREE Earbuds Pro2 + £300 Adidas

    via Cashback BLC offer

    Phone £1259.10 less min trade £150 less cashback £200 = £909

The difference is you save £140 cash with this new offer

However the earbuds 2 pro alone would now cost you £197 less £70cashback = £127

So you see apples with apples vs the last offer you actually got a FREE case and a £300 Adidas code on top. You would have got them to use irrespective if you wanted them or not (edited)

    If it helps....

This isn't available on the Samsung EPP site via xexec or Blue Light, sadly the base price of the handset is higher. I checked both but it is available via Totum. (edited)

In case I am missing something, this deal is only good if you have a decent sim deal currently & just want to continue with that?
Otherwise a new S23 Ultra deal works out around the £1100k-ish mark & that is the phone & a 24 months tariff. So you'd have to have a tariff sub £5.50ish to make this worth while?
