    The manufacturer changes the packaging from 57 to 53 washes (Persil), 900 to 800 ml (Tresemmé), 18 to 15Kg ( Harrington dog food), 4.7% to 4.2% volume (Lager).

    You are the store manager at Sainsbury's in Acton-on-Sea, left after the traffic light, 2 miles down before the Red Lion.

    You are not gonna sell side-by-side before and after: that's confusing for joe public, that's shrinkflation in your face for Andrew Bailey and that's a waste of shelf space for Dave who manages the yield per aisle (he's doing an internship from Bath uni).
    Sell at cost and move on.
