Bit of a shame you can't access the games if you stop your sub. It seems like money invested into nothing. You either need to keep paying each month/year to access games you have built up over time or lose access to them all together. You would be better off saving your £8 each month and buy the games you want, rather than being tied to a subscription service of random games.

Seems it's like it's the same as PS+, you regain access if you resubscribe later on.

In the event you re-subscribe to Meta Quest+ using the same Meta account, you will have access to your previously-redeemed Digital Content entitlements (e.g. if you purchase a subscription in month 1, cancel your subscription before month 4 and then re-subscribe in month 11, you will have access to Digital Content redeemed in months 1-3 and additional Digital Content starting in month 11), provided that such Digital Content is still available on Meta Quest.

I take it when you cancel you have no access to the games?

Vote hot for the £1 but the £7.99 is bad for renting 2 games a month.

Technically you’re renting an extra 2 games every month you subscribe, so if you’re a new Quest owner, you could get up to 24 games to play over a year for £60.
However, you don’t get a choice of the titles, and if you already own any of the games, you still have to pay the full amount.

Annoyingly, I already own the first 4 titles

Not exactly great is it? OK for people want to pat the £1 and cancel if they haven't got those games already though I guess

The trial (this deal) is a good deal imo... The sub itself is debatable.

If you're new to the platform (as many will be when the Quest 3 comes out), the sub is probably worth getting but for seasoned Quest 2 owners, there'll be a lot of overlap.

I'll be getting the 1 month trial, towards the end of July, so I get both month's games.

Terrible deal. If you got to keep them (a la Prime gaming), or gained access to a much wider library, then maybe - but your money would be better spent buying games. Especially these first two that have such high replayability.

Heat as it gives you a chance to try some games for a quid. Of course you could have up to two hours in a two week period and still refund them anyway. Ok for newcomers but pistol whip and walkabout are games you would want to keep I suspect. Mothergunship possibly too. The other one I didn’t get on with. Since Meta started trials that helped decide if a games a keeper and at least two other companies offer various bundles throughout the year too.

Got all four so no good for me either.

The £60 a year/£5 a month sub would be good for newbies, as long as the games offered are good enough of course.

Thanks just picked up an excellent condition meta quest 2 128gb for £130, this'll give me something almost free to play for the first month at £1 i guess (edited)

2 games a month for £7.99 (bar the first month)

Can only have access to the games with a live sub

If you have a fair few games already, you could go on for a while without any benefit (assuming you paid the 59 upfront for the year)

    Yep, same as PS Plus.
The sub itself is better suited to new Quest owners but the trial (this deal) is worth the quid imo, especially if you time it so you get both month's games.

There is terrible pricing, for £8, you should atlease offer 90% of VR game like gamepass

This sounds like a good deal if your new to the meta quest or you don't own any games, but even on the first month with pistol whip I feel I won't benefit cause I already own that game

I literally bought a Quest 2 today (£190 from CeX) and Pistol Whip was one of the games I most wanted to try, so works out well for me!

We all saw how this went this PS+.
It starts as a fun way to try new games. Then it becomes a requirement for online gaming.

This is so strange, I got the notification on the app yesterday, was showing as £5.99 a month, £44.99 annual, £0.81 intro

Now we have gone to 1:1 conversion from the $ prices, not good....

Was very tempted at the prices above, but having reread a load of news articles quoting the deal prices on here, and re checking the app, not so sure for £60

Anyone else notice the cheaper prices? Annoyed I didn't go for it straight away now, or at least took a screengrab!
