This isn't from Victoria Plum (not to be confused with VictorianPlumbing) however, as there name is mentioned, I will take the opportunity to say that I would never buy from Victoria Plum again following incredibly bad experience when I wanted to exchange a product. I detailed the event in my TrusPilot review and gave them a low score. They then had this review removed, despite it being 100% factually accurate, because I couldn't prove it happened! It seems TrustPilot are very much in the palm of the big companies. I therefore also no longer trust anything on TrusPilot as they seem geared towards positive reviews.

A silly question, but I am gussing that the T-Bar (if that's what it is called) is a standard fitting if you have a standard thermostatic shower?

Not sure if this answer your question. I bought this as a replacement for the existing cheap quality shower our previous home owners have put in. Basically I measured the distance between the hot and cold feeds and it matches with the grohe spec, which is 150mm (edited)

I like the large head shower for the look but in reality to get a proper shower it would need something like 25L per min. and a minimum. pressure of 3.5bars. With the cost of energy and water if metered that is unachievable.

Ours works great with 15L a minute.

These are good, have had one of these for a couple of years. Got the version with the wider shower head but it has three size positions, which also affect how powerful it feels on you.

Note that these come with a flow destructor inserted (as built) to save water. However they can be removed when you install the shower, which is what we did. We are not in a water meter

Grohe Vitalio is all made with chromed plastic shower heads for anyone considering it and maybe thinking it's metal (edited)

we have a similar Grohe shower - the head selector is sensitive - you use the large head have a nice relax... then turn it off miss the off notch and go straight other head which has more pressure and a few secs of cold... great for a wake up!

Doesn't mention anything in description about a tray? Does it mean shower tray or?
    doityourself's avatar

I think it means a tray on the thermostat that can hold soap etc

Are folk on here incentivised to share misleading listings. No shower tray included, despite the headline 🤦🤦 Not difficult to check what you're promoting really!

I'm pretty sure it only says thermostat and tray. Not shower tray. Also title is automated from the Amazon listing

    It's a Grohe not a shower

The 250 model(head is 250mm not 210mm so bigger) Hp/Combi is 277 inc at Screwfix so bigger head at cheaper price from what I can see.

Looks to have been a bit cheaper 3 months ago (checked on keepa) so not cheapest ever unless i'm mistaken? Still a good price of course.

I wish I could replace Mira in my new build with proper shower but unfortunately Grohe fixing is not compatible with Mira. Grohe is very reliable and durable brand, plus it’s easy to clean.

Dodgy marketplace though... Amazon 2 year warranty and Grohe extended warranty as Amazon is an authorised reseller would be the safer bet for not much extra.

I have low pressure on my current shower. How do I increase it on this? I have a new build with water tank
    MrFizzy's avatar
    MrFizzy
By 'water tank' do you mean a cold water tank or hot water tank? I'd be suprised if you have a cold water tank with a new build. If you have, then you will need to put in a pump if you want to increase your pressure.
