Don't need it but want it looks like it comes with a gauge too for measuring already made threads so you can match

Is it actually any good? I assume the purpose is a time/money saver rather than actually being better than buying replacement.

They are really good not sure about this specific set though, saves time but also when it comes to pre tapped holes can save you having to replace something bigger just for the sake of one bad thread

Yesterday I was tempted to get their drill/tap set as I needed a new tap wrench. The quality was simply shocking.
It was in the clearance section for 6.99 and I wouldn't even spend that much on it.
Can't comment on the drill bits but the machining(threads) , finish(flaking and chipping away) of the wrench were Really bad. I know it's just Lidl but I you can definitely do better.

These cheap tap & did sets are terrible. I've got a 30+ year old set of Dormer's and they've done hundreds of threads and they are still sharper and easier to use than this rubbish.

why did you buy this set, if you have a perfectly good, trusty, 30 year old set?

M25 and 1" size for taps and dies are two different things (edited)

I've got one of these and it's been a life saver a number of times. It won't last a lifetime but I've been glad I've had it when I've needed it. Actually mine might have been Aldi. (edited)

Are these as dangerous as they sound?

They just had a new leaflet with all the Parkside stuff, with Arnold on the cover. Should be in stock somewhere I'd imagine.
