ODEON: The Gift card can be used to purchase tickets, food and drink within ODEON and online.

VUE: Currently, the balance of a Gift Card may only be redeemed at the till point of any cinema operated by Vue, for the avoidance of doubt, cannot be redeemed online or by telephone.

Just remember, if these groups go into bankruptcy, which is definitely a possibility, they will almost certainly not honour gift cards.

If you've got a Club Lloyds Bank account you can choose six free Vue or Odeon Cinema tickets a year as a 'Lifestyle' benefit, which includes half price popcorn

If your local cinema is doing £5 tickets that takes it down to £4?

Can I buy this, sit on it til xmas and then use it to redeem against my next annual renewal for odeon? Could potentially save 40% that way if I can

Just asked if I could use it for limitless and they've said no

Good deal if going soon. Just be careful of Vue as only valid for 12mths where as Odeon is 24mths, if you are actually gift it.

Good deal although be a bit weary of cineworld if you're not using straight away as potentially going into administration.

Cineworld is going into administration this month and restructuring their finances, but not shutting down.

Do you have to search for Cineworld & Vue? The link is only showing Odeon gift cards (edited)

I tried searching and it worked.

I think you can gradually use it up. Just be aware this £5 deal won't last forever and you have 2 years to spend it. Or you lose what is left.

Thanks OP, heat added and that saves me about £5.40 off my next three tickets

Can I buy even £100 gift card and use the same giftcard multiple times (until I’ll use £100 value) or do I need to buy separate 4x £20 etc?

Does anyone know if there are any discount methods, where I can simply walk into an Odeon and get a discount on the ticket price? something like Tastecard or Totum…just something that will give me a %age off the ticket price?

IMAX tickets at my local Odeon are £20/seat so I’m just trying to get that down a bit if possible…My NUS Extra card used to give me 25% off the ticket price at the ticket office, but I can’t see that it does that any more…

    Thanks

Not sure but try on odeon app being logged in you won’t pay any extra fees. If you are talking about the best and most expensive iSense you are right Saturday/Sunday are £20 each but if you go on Monday (even 19:00 or 20:10) you can buy the ticket for £10 and standard odeon for £5 in myODEON saver ticket. I grabbed 2 tickets for Oppenheimer just 3 days after the premiere for £20 (I paid £16 using this gift card from Amazon) (edited)

Anyone knows when it ended and when can we expect this deal again? Should have bought more in advance
    gummby's avatar
Not sure. If I knew the £5 deal would last longer I might of bought more too. Otherwise it ends up as popcorn money. Pretty sure it will come back at some point.
