Best devices ever for my two autistic boys, the restrictions make the devices easy to navigate and the games and apps it comes with keep them entertained for hours. The only downside is they can feel a bit clunky and really Amazon should have put a decent volume restriction on a children’s device, they can go way too loud. But they are worth the money and will be automatically replaced by Amazon if smashed, I’ve had two swapped out so far, one of them a week after having it replaced.

What apps did you download for them if you don't mind me asking please.

Slow and artificially restricted to amazon only apps on kids profile (impossible to get the YouTube app for example) . Not to mention trying to force you into prime subscriptions. Better off getting a galaxy A7 for this price. (edited)

I don't entirely agree. This model is designed for restriction for kids, also the youtube app can be added.

This deal also includes 1 year of amazon kids subscription (usually £38 per year) and a case.

Amazon tablets are worth nothing afterwords and over restricted on apps. Especially if their friends have a samsung tablet.

Jumped on the deal as it seams a no brainier considering new warranty and subscription. Wasn't able to take advantage of the trade in as it takes upto a week to complete and you don't get voucher etc until it has gone through, plus little one wouldn't be happy with no tablet for a week.
