ChapOfSteelSame spec, but this will be brand new and in proper packaging. Refurb is like new but with plain packaging. Admittedly that doesn’t really make much difference, but I am returning my refurb and have ordered this for battery reasons.

Abz007I bought the refurb. Its perfect. It was brand new. Came in refurbished box with new charger and new cable. Not a single mark on it - I_ZebraNow showing as £69.99. This is about half the price it sells website not a bank holiday black Friday or whatever. Totally worth it. I've had this tablet for 2 years I think. I use it for reading ebooks with illustrations, magazines, you tube, basic internet stuff, not productivity. I'm sceptical about all this stuff about installing Google playstore btw. My experience was that it killed battery life and only worked well till the next update. Amazon support fire tablets for about as long as Apple support ipads. I've got loads of history , art and cookery books which would have cost a fortune to buy as hard copies as many were just in hardback. Don't agonize about the ads. They are only on the lockscreen so easily ignored and if you do find them intrusive you can pay £10 AT ANY TIME to get them permanently removed. I don't think this will get much cheaper. I think Prime Day is the best time of the year for Amazon tablets.

It's also slow loading web pages and if you plan to play any games you won't have a good experience. It's great for the price as long as your expectations aren't high- I_ZebraJust seen that Amazon refund the difference if you buy something on prime day and they drop the price further during this time.
