    yes they should do, as long as they support ONVIF. I have other similar ANNKE cameras running fine with my Hikvision NVR

    I would need that box to connect to, right? I am in need of 2 or 3 cameras and needs to be hardwired so this looks good.

    can be standalone with an SDCard, or connected to an NVR box

    POE=Power over ethernet. You would need a POE network switch or POE injectors to supply power to these. Then you could either use an SD card for the video capture/storage or NAS drive, NVR etc.

    They have a normal 12v DC socket too

    There are 2 cables on this do you have to connect the other as well as the POE cable.

    No, if you look on the photos it says "optional" next to the power cable. This is because you can POE (power over ethernet) so you don't need to use the power cable.
