Seems worth the extra over the HD 10 for an additional 1GB of RAM and wireless charging.

I would say so, not the most powerful but with 4GB of RAM and 1080p definitely the best value.

£36.99 when trading in a fire HD 7 to 20% off and a £10 voucher... I guess the 20% is taken off the rrp! Happy days!
sibeer
How do you get the trade in voucher? Just tried to do this for an echo and can’t seem to get the duscount
bauer
how do you instantly get the trade in discount? I've got to wait until they receive my device?
or have you clever people traded in already before prime day?
McPhee87
I'm having the same problem here. Up until now, it's always been instant for me when doing this offer
Yasioo
For trade in - should I bother and look for original box and charger, or they don't care? I couldn't find that info in terms and condition. 36£ good deal (edited)

Not required as long as you pack it well. I’ve sent several items before. Best is to take pics before you send

Looks like it's expired.

Very impressed with mine so far, stuck it in an old wireless charging stand and that works well, also have NowTV working fine (not available on older models I think), really happy with quality of video and sound, and the general performance (browsing etc) is pretty good too....terrific value for the £70 I paid (that photo upload £15 voucher from last week), and I don't think anything comes close under £130 ish, Bargain. If you're using a tablet for mostly netflix Prime etc I really don't think you can go wrong. When I compare price to even a cheap smart phone it's a no brainer.

previous lowest ever was £105 on a lightning deal according to Keepa keepa.com/

I think I managed £90 at Christmas 2022 for my mam, managed to remove the ads on Christmas Day

Hmm, should I cancel the refurbished 3gb model at £61.99 for this 4gb for an extra £23?
autocrazy
Same question. Is this better and worth the extra £20 odd? I need 2 for my kids so don't my shelling out if it's going to be worth it
DonkeyKonk
Just ordered the 10+, had the ""photo upload" voucher too, so only £70... And this video helped me decide...

My HD10 purchased a couple of days ago is going back and being replaced by this. Definitely worth the extra £15 for 4GB over the standard 3GB HD10. Heat.
craigwatters
Brilliant deal with the trade in and £10 voucher working out at £36.99

How do you send the device back? Do they give you a box or something

Go to your Amazon account page under 'Returns & Orders' top right - follow the instructions.
danknott5445
how does this compare to the Fire Max 11, which is nearly double the price?
stu83
Cheaper build quality and slightly slower processor, but it has wireless charging which the Max 11 doesn't appear to have.

I can get this for £58 after trade in. I had a HD10 (non plus) and wasn't massively impressed so wonder how much better the plus will fair.
hotfinder
Same processor I’m afraid, so only multitasking would improve with more RAM and some apps
steveie
this or the HD8 Plus (2022) wanting it as a baby monitor screen and occasional screen to see cooking instructions in the kitchen, so will be getting a wirless dock for show mode
spawww83
Can I convert this to a kids tablet? Is this better than getting a fire 10 kids pro?
John_Rohhh
If your child uses the video apps and downloaded games it seems much of a muchness to me having only owned the original hd 10.

A tablet released in 2021 using Android 9.0 (Pie released in 2018), at least put the latest OS and Security updates! No Deal for me!
morty
Only 32GB what a joke.
This is not good value and I know people will say but it has sd support that is not the point what is this 2016 64GB should be minimum but really at the price point these are 128GB.
GeoThermal
Got a link to these 10" 128GB tablets for under £90?
