Don't forget the laptop 4070 GPU is voltage limited by Nvidia restricting it to 100W (well no extra performance above 100W) and it's only 8GB VRAM. Desktop 4070 system better (and cheaper) if you don't absolutely need a laptop. Decent deal nevertheless

4070 on this is 140W TDP

And lenovo offered 60£ in reward points you can spend online so the price drops to 1160

The 4070 M is very similar to the RTX 4060 TI for comparison.

Lowest price so far for a 4070 M £ 1204.00 all in with out the extra guarantee.

    Good spot pdpd

Thank you for posting this, I was waiting for something like this, is saying it will arrive in 2 weeks with standard delivery; also I removed the one-year premium warranty to have the price above as it is coming included from the start; anyway they will offer one year warranty

    You welcome

Does anyone know if you can upgrade both SSD slots (reasonably easy) or only the secondary one? I just bought this with 512SSD and 16GB ram so I can (hopefully?) upgrade to 2 2TB SSDs and 32GB ram.

    Also, thanks pdpd!! (edited)

Yes you can upgrade, plus extra m.2 slot free

@pdpd Have you checked price on the education or partner stores? Potentially cheaper there!?

Quick check: Coupon code doesn't seem available, so it's not. (edited)

I used Topcashback and it tracked for me pretty much straight away - I don't know if it'll actually pay out (not counting on it) but if it does, that's another £62 saved.

How does this compare to the Dell G15 5530 4060 i7 13650hx deal for £1044? (edited)

Better quality / Chassis / lower heat issues / quieter fan noise and better 1440p panel.

Gosh this is a beast! I can only dream of this laptop lol Thank u op heat added!

It's definitely handicapped by only having 8GB VRAM though, I've seen several reviews of it where the graphics settings had to be reduced quite a bit to prevent awful stuttering due to the vram limit being hit. Enough for me to rule it out
The 1600p native resolution doesn't help with that either... (edited)

The specs are pretty good for the price.

Does the 10% code for signing up stack or have they removed that?

Not sure tbh, I didn't see it pop up when I visited the site few times today on different browsers. if I remember correct they didnt allow it when they had sales last time.. it was confirmed by members on hukd

I'd save the money and go for the 4060 at £1084.
    loverboy21's avatar
If buying for gaming and longevity spend a bit more and get the 4070 option.

Remember guys that Legion Pro Intel versions don't have Thunderbolt,so I suspect the AMD version neither. I bought the the Legion Slim7i rtx 4060 which has TB4 and still supposed to push till 140w,even though will probably settle around 100w as we know thanks to Jarrod's, but for me was about portability and gaming with TB4.
    adam.mt's avatar
Definitely doesn't have Thunderbolt (that's an Intel thing). May have USB 4.0 with Thunderbolt compatibility, though. Would need to check. (edited)

    Any way to split payments
    Sie_Masz's avatar
Lenovo doesn't offer finance directly anymore.I think only option would be to use Paypal credit as they accept Paypal payments.

This laptop or the Dell G16 below? I can get it for £1,186

Depends on your preferences, ie. Intel vs AMD, Dell vs Lenovo Legion. There's pros and cons for both choices.

How does this compare to the Legion 5 i7-11800H 3070 deal currently on Amazon for £999. Worth the additional £200+?
    m_undersingh's avatar
Not really unless you care about having the latest rtx

Can you also switch to the integrated graphics on this, the 780M?

100% claimed now. It was on a couple of days ago so maybe it'll come back in the next few days again.
    loverboy21's avatar
The offers will keep coming up between now and Christmas we are heading into end of year selling season and they will get cheaper. Just have to look at the £ vs $ which means importing into this country is going to get cheaper.
