Have you had any creaking fronm the bottom bracket/cranks? Do you find the battery capacity rating accurate? Is the battery easy to get in and out of the frame and when you're charging it does the battery or charger get hot to touch? Have you had any initial teething problems? (edited)

    No creaking noises.

I didn't check battery capacity. My wife is a light user and there is a plenty of charge left each time we are back from trip - it is good enough for me.
Bike is sold and delivered by Amazon, so if you have any concerns regarding bike or battery you can raise it with their customer service which is excellent. I charge batteries outdoors, so eventual overheating is not my main concern.
There were no major teething problems. Just double check every screw as you would do with each new bike.

My bike was supplied with charger with EU plug (illegal in UK). I complained and received £40 refund if I remember well.

    Received today thanks op:
So some feedback that might help someone and some questions
The bike comes in a box u lift out of, very heavy bike to lift out of a very big high box so might want to get help.

Fuffed about with pedals for 20 mins and they wouldn’t go in, reason being is for the left side the pedals actually screw in anti clock wise and not the norm click wise. Once that’s in straightened the bar and bike is 4 out of 5 bars charged.
Now some questions please to help a noob:
    1. Do I need to oil any parts at all or is this ready to go?
    2. Any pressure bar or digit limit for the tyres cause they need topping up.
    3. Still trying to figure out how to turn the light on and off and how to remove the battery
    4. I have tightened the handle and pedals
Anything else I need to check please

It is like that on all bikes.

"Once that’s in straightened the bar and bike is 4 out of 5 bars charged."

Batteries are always transported while partially discharged.

"1. Do I need to oil any parts at all or is this ready to go?"

Don't think so... use your judgement.

"3. Still trying to figure out how to turn the light on and off and how to remove the battery"

    Page 7.
You need to turn the key to remove battery.

"4. I have tightened the handle and pedals Anything else I need to check please"

All need checking, especially wheels and seat post.

    Belt drive?

Plus points are 13ah battery and Nexus hub. Front hub motor should be ok as the motor probably isn't strong enough to lose traction uphill although the rack mounted battery (plus luggage) puts a lot of weight at the back.

Overall, good value entry bike that probably only needs a £20 Zoom suspension seat post. (edited)

I have same brand. Works well. Battery hard to pull out but works brilliantly

When I stop peddling or subconsciously just paddle back while cruising the thing puts on emergency brakes is that normal

Also have u managed to somehow disable the limiter please
  9. Mrepg's avatar
You don’t want the battery there.
    kalico's avatar
    Why not?

Bought assuming this is your typical normal electric bike never seen one this cheap
Although only a single English review does worry me

do only English speaking people ride bicycles?

I have an Ebike that's approximately 7-10 years old. And it has the exact same frame.

Seems a good deal, especially with hub gears.
For info Its an XL frame size.

Seems like a good deal but worth learning about coaster brakes before getting on. Seems to have normal brakes too, but you don't want to unexpectedly brake. (edited)

    What are coaster brakes?

Looks like a very good deal.

Impressive. Sadly V brakes, but nexus internal hub, 36v, Ananda front motor 40nm torque, 13 ah battery is great value. Tempted to have a punt tbh.

I bought step through version for my wife few months ago. I am not a great fan of V brakes myself, but surprisingly they work quite well on her bike. Motor should have mounts to install disc brake rotor if you are willing to change fork.
Upgrade to Deore V brakes should be cheap and easy.

Edit: And of course there is a coaster brake as well. (edited)

You are most welcome. I posted this deal as an alternative to single speed Muddyfox with small battery which appears here as a great deal from time to time. I think this Shiano and combination of front hub motor with Nexus 7 is a much better option.

Having that said you would probably get a better value for money by converting a bike.

Lovely bike hindered by the stupid speed limiter which feels like it actually puts the brakes on the bike
In a desperate bid anyone know how it can be disabled. It’s not a safety feature but a hinderance, when I am cycling at 20-25 miles an hour no car tries to over take me and I am safer but when I am cycling at 15-20 every car in every corner is trying to over take me creating the risk as u r squeezed in narrow roads

    15.5mph is a legal limit.
You can go faster, but that would require type approval.
What you need is motorcycle or a scooter, not a bike.

Use the BY60 code on the eleglide website that works on the M1 bike. Takes the price down 60 euros.
The Citycrosser bike is now down to £455 on geekbuying with code 23SUMMER3. Crazy price! lowest I've seen it!
Took delivery of the e-bike yesterday, in 2 working days, impressed with their service so far. Have yet to ride it due to the rain. It's easy to unlock the speed on the lcd screen, did it in 30 seconds. Just waiting for some dry weather and I'll be giving it a good test ride! (edited)
