    Antalya or Alanya?

Title says Antalya, but the OP details mention Alanya, including the accommodation address.
They're 2 completely different resorts in Turkey.

It seems even Thomas Cook aren't sure!

    Edit:
Looks like it's flights to Antalya, then a 120km transfer to the resort in Alanya. Transfers take 2 hours each way and aren't included. Price for transfers offered by Mr Cook between £63 - £287 extra.

Also, the package only includes hand luggage. You won't fit winter clothes for a week in your hand luggage! Add an extra £70 for each item of hold luggage. (edited)

Word of advice: Bloody freezing cold in Antalya in Dec (DON'T DO IT), unless you need new implants.

Average temp there in December is low sixties not exactly freezing

Not sure about Alanya, but last time I was in Antalya for Christmas, the weather was quite  pleasant at around 18 - 20c in the daytime, certainly warmer than the UK!

I lived in Antalya. Warmest area in Turkey. In december around 15 degrees like you said. Cold for swim in sea but warmer than UK definitely.

If you just want to get away for a bit and see some sights it’s fine but will need a jacket and don’t expect to go in the sea

What are direct rates for hotels like?

Tbh I'd rather go in December than July, it's horrible to do any outdoor activities during the heat except if you're by the beach. Humidity is rife, especially at night. Mosquitoes will gnaw at you all day.

    Great deal OP

Spent a fortnight in Antalya in may this year. Was bored out of my mind. Very little to see. Would imagine worse in Dec, however at those prices, it would be a no brainer over staying in the UK.
Take a few books and sudokus and hold your nose with the Efes.

No offence but I think you were clearly unaware of the places to visit

May is decent weather maybe not for the sea but there’s loads to see and do not to mention kalechi night life, mountains, waterfalls, museums, malls and the atmosphere at the walk way at the beach day or night is great, guess it comes down to taste but to say “very little to see” I wouldn’t agree but that’s my opinion (edited)
