    A friend bought a 12 month redemption deal via Fonehouse for 3 network and has had a complete nightmare. Three have signed him up for a 24 month deal for a higher monthly amount than the contract stated. Fonehouse have now ignored his emails asking for this to be corrected. Be careful with Fonehouse, no customer service if things go wrong. (edited)

    Nearly the same price (£8) of Smarty for 50GB. Although if you don't need the extra data, I'd go with Smarty and not have the 12 month contract and also get EU roaming.

    £8 a month if you do cashback by redemption. £9 cheaper over 12 months. Coming to the end of my 100GB for £3.50/month cashback by redemption deal and this seams to be the best deal at the moment. Hopefully affordable mobiles brings some similar cashback deals out soon. (edited)

    not overly impressed with three, left over a year ago and the last month or so been hounded by a debt collection company (CRS) for £10 that they allege I owe without any written explanation of debt. Its common apparently and has affected my credit ratimg. Anyway winge over just be aware when you cancel you may have a similar experience...

    For balance I've been with Three for about 2 months. Absolutely wipes the floor with O2, who I left.

    No issues (so far) with O2 chasing me for £.

    You can get 120gb on Three for effective £6.84 through Topcashback on a 12 month.

    Its a Good deal. Last year I took a sim only contract during black friday, with ID mobile for 250gb data, unlimited UK calls and texts for 14£ a month (12months) and 78£ cashback by redemption (15,60£ × 5x) . Because signed up via Topcashback got an extra 10£ cashback . So whole deal was 6,67£ a month over 12m but you hardly use any data. Its been 9months and still going with nearly full data allowance rolling over next month. 5g in some areas in Manchester is incridibly fast at 300mbs speeds beating full fibre however indoors getting around 20/30mbs speeds which is also acceptable. Just waiting for black Friday again. The only downside is no international calls however Id mobile does allow roaming data + calls + texts.
    Note: always check the small print before you sign up to any contracts.

    Currently holidaying in Abersoch North Wales. Absolutely zero data signal on Three down here. EE on the other hand seems pretty good. Good bye Three.

    No it doesn’t. Click on the go roam icon and it tells you. It’s £2 a day for EU roaming or you can purchase 3/5/7/14 day bundles. (edited)
