Thank you I've ordered . Can anyone recommend a mobile router please ? Not that clued up with this stuff . Just looking for a WiFi connection at my caravan . Thanks
    the_ghost's avatar
Get an Asus router something like 86u you can buy a cheap 5g phone and teather it via USB port on the router which means you are not limited to a few devices and you have nat firewall etc no need for a 5g router rip off. Or if you buy a newer version of the router you can insert the SIM straight into the router (edited)

    Plan and pricing details:
    Business mobile broadband plan details
Here we’ll cover the advantages of this plan, what's included and excluded, and any additional charges. Pay close attention to "What you need to be aware of” for information on potential price increases.

    Key benefits
    Roaming
    Three+ Rewards app
    Unlimited data
Where your plan includes unlimited data, you can work on the go with as much data as you'll ever need in the UK. Download, email, share, and stream, without the worry of going over your allowance.

    Roaming
When you're working abroad, use your data allowances in over 70 Go Roam destinations worldwide.

Unless expressly stated otherwise in your plan description, unlocking your UK allowance for Go Roam in Europe destinations will cost you £2 per 24-hour period. For Go Roam Around the World destinations, the cost is £5 per 24-hour period.

These costs include VAT where applicable and are per SIM. Go Roam in the Republic of Ireland and the Isle of Man is excluded from the daily charge. Unlimited data, minutes and texts are UK only, our fair use policies apply in Go Roam destinations. See our terms and conditions for full details.

What’s not included with your business mobile broadband contract?
    When your allowances run out
If you’ve used your monthly UK inclusive allowance of data, you’ll be charged 1p per MB (ex VAT) unless you opt to purchase an Add-on. If you put the SIM from your mobile broadband device into a device that can make and receive calls and texts these will be charged at Outside of Allowances Service Rates. See our price guide for full details.

Important terms you should be aware of
Plan charges are exclusive of VAT at 20%. Each April, your Monthly Charge will increase by 4.5%. Price includes a £5 monthly discount for paying by a recurring method, such as Direct Debit.

    For full terms, see three.co.uk/ter…ess.

Do you need to send proof of business etc? Remember this was posted like 2years ago for similar price maybe lower for like £3/m but found out after it expired
    Ridgehead's avatar
On that £3/month plan and didn't have to provide anything. Just set up as a sole trader in my own name.
  6. craigyhay's avatar
do they start charging you from the day you order the sim, when it is delivered or when it is actually placed in a device?
    Just.Wondering's avatar
I inserted mine today, but billing shows from August the 12th, I'm guessing that means I will be charged from today for a couple of days of the month, then my billing cycle will be on the 12th each month.
  7. average's avatar
Mine been sent over from Monday morning (email confirmation) and didn't show up yet.... Probably coming from China...
    Just.Wondering's avatar
It will be sent via Evesham micros, brown envelope, white sticker....
  8. LFC7's avatar
I purchased 1 earlier in the week can I purchase another
    Just.Wondering's avatar
I guess so, but remember too many credit checks are not ideal for your credit file
  9. paxku's avatar
    Great deal.
How much data do you realistically use, though?
    deleted2919055's avatar
I put one in a 5G router and it's now my main internet connection. The most i've done in a month was 900GB roughly. Normal months are 200-300GB. Three has no cap and no "fair use policy" (unlike EE 'unlimited' whcih is 650GB)
  10. average's avatar
The only downside with this sim card is that after 14 days return period you get stuck with it for 2 years ....most people complain about 3 internet speed

Can we stop expiring this and fix it to 24 months? The deal is on the website for anyone who makes their own way into Business Pay Monthly SIMs.
  12. FF99's avatar
    I am just getting:

"Missing translationId: deviceGallery.business for language: en".

Only deal on the website seems to be £16.67 + VAT (edited)
  13. TheSquare's avatar
Vodafone is buying up Three so later reception you get on Vodafone you will also get on Three.
  14. jfman0's avatar
Please god whoever is expiring this stop being lazy and find the deal on the site by yourself rather than rely on the links that are broken (as unique to each session).

And can someone change it to 24 months.
  15. blaster's avatar
i was lucky to get 2 of the £2.50 +vat unlimited business sims in feb 2022 so they run out next feb, i use one of the sims in a huawei cpe 5g pro 2 and run all my home broadband from this router, good day 480mbps download worst i get is around 60mbps , very happy with it , very few problems over last 18 months, the second sim i use in my dual sim mobile and just use for data , if i use this sim in my mobile for calls or txts its at the payg rates , think its 3p a txt and 2p a minutes , can be used just like a normal mobile sim including it will receive incoming calls and also as voice mail , i even ported my old number into it no problems. Hope this answers some of the questions above.
    FF99's avatar
When you say "run out", wont it continue at the original price (uplifted for RPI)? Surely the 24 months is your minimum term, not Three's maximum term?
  16. Jayawol777_Ok's avatar
    • Proof of address for your business
    • Proof of ID – this must be a passport, driving licence, UK biometric residence permit, or national ID card
    • Your 3 most recent monthly business bank statement
    • do you have to send all this?
    zackkr's avatar
I didn't have to send any of that, just made a business name up and all was good.
  17. dasilva's avatar
Mine arrived but the speeds in most areas around me are abysmal. Home is 1.76 Mbps, work is even less yet on my EE phone I am getting over 100mbps in both areas. I think I will be sending it back
  18. jprasad's avatar
Plug this into one of the 5G routers available on eBay, and you'll get amazing speeds in areas where the 3 network is good. I don't think it will be useful for gaming though (not a gamer). I get awesome speeds in Birmingham! I am currently on their Broadband SIM monthly plan.

    50730175-ihn7r.jpg (edited)
    average's avatar
that looks great....i will be happy with half of that speed in london
  19. uklemons's avatar
mine just went straight though, i put sole trader and company name and my name as same, self employed, no of employees 1 etc....

didn't ask for any documents (edited)

For those who struggle to locate this plan.
Worked fine on Chrome and Opera on the computer (Mac), even on iPhone safari browser.

    Open this URL:
(seems that HUKD messing up the url), so just adjust the bellow accordingly with removing space after three. and after .co

    three. co. uk/business/shop/broadband/data-sim-pay-monthly

    Hit "SEE ALL PLANS".

Scroll down to the bottom and the last one of them is the one you are looking for.

I do not have business, but used to have LTD before. Just filled in approx dates of my business opening time, selected sole trader... All went through, credit check at the end and voila - order successful.

Showing as 12months but after adding changing to 24months. Good Luck. (edited)
    walio's avatar
HUKD mess up links, hence I adjusted mine few posts above, obviously to get the affiliated payments.
But yes, still active and a good deal
  24. blonk's avatar
Does this have the ability to make receive calls or text even if they are chargeable extra?
    Just.Wondering's avatar
You could, run a voip number.
  25. FF99's avatar
It will definitely receive incoming calls and texts. Not sure about outgoing, but I would assume not.

I got 2 business sims it's been over a year this hasn't increased. Still paying same price. DD hasn't changed

Did you buy 2 at the same time? I was wanting another but don't know how to go about it. Online chat wasn't helpful

Did this ASAP this morning as last time this sort of deal happened it was gone while I was still thinking about it. Cost me hundreds.
  31. freeonline's avatar
Don't risk it. After a hard check and trying 2 different credit cards (both failed) for the monthly payment and entering my bank details in the end for direct debit, they're asking for:
    • Proof of address for your business
    • Proof of ID – this must be a passport, driving licence, UK biometric residence permit, or national ID card
    • Your 3 most recent monthly business bank statements
    Paul_f1's avatar
Just worked for me fine,no documents were asked for
  32. Varioer's avatar
I got my SIM today. Took about 30 mins for it to register and start working. Even though I'm not in a strong 5G area for Three I'm getting around 80mbps, and used it for work including meetings this afternoon, so pretty happy with that.
  33. tharinduasanka's avatar
I had mine delivered and already in my 5G portable router which I got through here a while back with Vodafone for £40. Not the fastest in my area but when I go outside I’m reaching 500mbps but indoors barely 2mb
    aaad1's avatar
Any info what that router is? I'm looking for a cheap 5G router. Thanks
  34. sdduk's avatar
Can't order it...all the other deals are fine apart from the £5 one.
  35. Azzin's avatar
This would make a great eSIM.

What's the price after the 24 month term?
  37. Just.Wondering's avatar
Just signed up this morning for the 24 months unlimited data at £6 including VAT.

No issues with signing up, used sole trader, regular details about address time lived at etc...sailed through no issues.

I currently use a Smarty sim, which is also a Three based product, I get around 200Mbits download, so happy days, as I will be saving around £13 a month.

I went via Quidco, I could not see anything detailing a business sim via Quidco...but no harm in trying I guess...as it could pay around £60 if it works via Quidco. (edited)
    aaad1's avatar
How does sole trader work? We I need to make up a company name or just use my own name?
  38. SBK_100's avatar
I got this plan £3 last year. There is no increases with business. I've paid £3 over year we passed april
    Just.Wondering's avatar
Is yours 12 month or 24 month, interested to know, if yours will go up in price at the end of the term, or if it continues at the original price plan?
  39. Voyto's avatar
Just ordered as a fictional sole trader, 1 employee - no problems.

Didn't need it, but Unlimited Data @ £6 is hard to pass. Customer Services also confirmed it can be converted into eSim on arrival too, in case you want to dual sim on your phone
    blonk's avatar
My was posted to my fictional company name , blonk ltd thought they might have used my actual name !

Pretty sweet deal for unlimited sim only. Perfect for second e-sim, mobile bb sim or sim for iPad/tablet.
Went thru without a hitch using soletrader option. Obviously ran a credit check but sim should be delivered tomorrow.
