    There's lots of conflicting thoughts around how the warranty works for used/ third-party phones. Here's some info from the Samsung reps in case it's useful:

    TL;DR: If you do not have the original receipt of purchase, the 2yr warranty is valid from the phones manufacturing date, not the original purchase date.

    If you have no document that can prove that the item was purchased initially in August 2022 then you have no warranty at all.

    Very bad customer service when I tried to claim a faulty projector sold by Samsung just after two months. Although under warranty Samsung refuse to even touch it.

    Got to say, this is the best phone I have had for years. Battery is amazing, often have 40% at the end of the day after fairly heavy use. Camera and zoom lens is incredible!

    Same, only thing I don't like is that it's a real chunky boy. It makes my old OnePlus 7pro feel like an iPhone mini.

    But if you want the best you need the heft.

    What happened ?

    Samsung repaired my s21u that stopped charging a month before the 2 years was up.
    I believe my salt gritting job caused the port to corrode.

    So I cannot fault them.

    Just had my ultra 21 die 3 months out of warranty.
    Just over 2 years old first top of the food chain samsung I've had and not impressed.
    The thing is mint condition just went blank and samsung repair centre said its the board and they can't do those even if I want to pay.
    I'm back to my old S10 still going strong.
    I wintybuy another ultra seems a lot don't seem to last much longer then their warranty without issues.
    Battery was horrendous also, charging 3 times a day medium use.

    Really want this phone, but new. Some people picked up a new one for this price (yes yes, time machines etc). But also wondering if I should wait for the S24 which should have sattellite comms like the iphone does. As we go hiking and camping that might be a nice feature. Then again i've lived all my life without one lol.

    If you’re intent on Samsung wait for Black Friday when hopefully there will be some offers 

    i Just sold my s23 ultra from the other deal as I couldn’t get along with it
