I've got this one. Received sealed and will stay sealed for now.

If you buy one head to Lenovo site and update the warranty. Most of these tablets run out of warranty not long ago or may have a few days left. If you're lucky enough to get one still under the warranty, it will be easy to extend the warranty. Mine ran out of warranty while it was in transit. Provided Lenovo with photos, and they extended the warranty from the day I've purchased it for 12 months.

It is an LTE tablet, BTW. And the difference between this one and the 32gb one is not only the storage. This one is 4gb ram, and the other one is only 3. (edited)

Excellent, thanks for the very useful info

Will stay sealed for now? Are you saving it for a rainy day or a friend or something else? (edited)

Can I use this as a 2nd monitor? Seems like it would be a cheap and cheerful option
    paulhills's avatar
Actually you can, there are a few different programs/apps that allow you to use an android device as a second monitor - this article shows how to do it with Spacedesk and names some other options at the end lifewire.com/use…234

About a suitable power adapter, etc... what we've concluded from the other replies in the initial 32Gb version thread: hotukdeals.com/dea…636

    - Needs to be at least 𝟮𝟬𝗪 + 𝗣𝗗 𝟮.𝟬/𝟯.𝟬, plus can output specifically 𝟭𝟮𝗩⎓𝟭.𝟲𝟳𝗔 𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘃𝗲 - example for only £5.99 amazon.co.uk/dp/…173 (taken from hotukdeals.com/com…871), which is 20W PD 3.0 & output: DC 5V⎓3A, 9V⎓2.22A, 𝟭𝟮𝗩⎓𝟭.𝟲𝟳𝗔

    - This also works at 12V⎓2.50A (£10) amazon.co.uk/dp/…RV9

    - For a power bank... minimum is PD & 12V⎓1.5A (again needs to specifically mention the 12V⎓... value in the specs) hotukdeals.com/com…206

    - Finally. ensure the cable is up to the job! PD rated, an example amazon.co.uk/dp/…52Y

I tried again with my Samsung 45W power adapter but this time using a different USB-C cable instead of the the 5A cable that came with the adapter and it worked.
The Samsung 45W adapter doesn't explicitly mention 12V as one of the outputs but it's listed as PPS.

Amazing that people didn't know about this one. The 32gb model was posted 2 weeks ago, and it is still active. In the comments there, someone posted a link for this one. Lots of people purchased it, including myself. I've got mine on the 14th.
It's a good idea to read the comments and the description. I came across this one because I read the comments on the previous post. I nearly purchase this one.
The other model deal is still live. It's not as good as this one, but it's still outstanding value. The difference between the 2 is not only the storage. This one has 1gb ram extra, and it is LTE. The other one automatically updates to Android 12. This one apparently stays on Android 11.

I missed out on the 64 gig one ended up getting the 32 gig one. It’s come sealed brand new today. I going to use mine for watching movies from sdcard and browsing the web am gonna go down the route of powering it with a power bank until am well enough to open it and see how to install a battery.
    Crossbow's avatar

Please note you cannot install a battery, someone has opened it up already - apparently the battery connector hardware is missing hotukdeals.com/com…801

If you're any good at soldering or know someone who is, you may be able to buy the missing part though - as it could be the same as the P11 Plus battery connector hotukdeals.com/com…925 - to be confirmed 100%, subscribe to that thread to receive notifications when anyone replies...

I am currently looking for a tablet to keep me entertained whilst having heart surgery soon. This would be ideal if a battery could be fitted to it. It’s a fantastic price.
    plewis00's avatar
Honestly, if you’re having heart surgery just save yourself the hassle and get something that works as intended - like a Fire tablet or a used Samsung Tab A. Don’t buy a batteryless tablet hoping you can shoehorn a battery or power bank to it - you don’t need the added stress.

Anyone know if you can put a sim card in the 32gb model thanks.

No, only the 64Gb models have this capability - specifically model number TB-X6C6NBX / ZA9J0006GB.

    gen271674's avatar
Yes. Something without a power supply and batteryless that requires electricity to function will require a power supply to function.
  13. s_bart's avatar
    “Batteryless” 😁

From ye olde English meaning "without battery". About as simple as it gets

Seems ideal for a home automation hub mounted on the wall or something. As they don't want a battery in them as they would swell up. Ofc unless a tablet had battery overcharge protection. (edited)

apart from pos shops, what use can a batteryless tablet be used for?

wondering if at this price it might be worth having for stuff i haven't thought of using it for. (edited)

Does anyone know if this will work with it?50659511-Va8hd.jpg
    plewis00's avatar
Apparently it needed a fixed voltage supply so I wouldn’t try that one as that has multiple outputs as a USB PD charger.
  24. maltloaf_df's avatar
As of writing you can only select "with power supply" for £54.99

All sold or more likely seller realised their error and pulled stock. One sec there were 35 in stock, the next none

The seller accepts multiple orders, you could easily order 30 at once.

Just out of interest, what parcel company delivered the tablet, I still haven't got mine yet that's all. Thanx in advance
    david3d's avatar
It was delivered this morning from the RoyalMail postman but the parcel was wrapped in a ParcelForce wrap. Also I've read lots of comment about the tablet being brand new but mine was definately used, full of oily prints everywhere! Still can't complaint at this price
