Having DRAM (which this doesn't have) does help a little with the OS but for general use there's little difference so may not be worth the extra expense.
The cheapest 512GB with DRAM is £29, not really worth it for just a tiny improvement in performance. (edited)
(N/B. I've no experienced with this particular brand/drive!)
