    I need a new chair, current one is peeling everyday. It's such a shame as normally the lift breaks before anything and nothing else is wrong. But I need real leather perhaps as these fake leathers only last 2/3years. (edited)

    You will sweat on leather , that's why it peels off. Fake leather will peel faster.
    I have a "SIHOO Office Chair Ergonomic Office Chair, Breathable Mesh Design High Back Desk Chair with Adjustable Headrest and Lumbar Support (Black)" which I got 2 years ago for £160. Very comfortable and the main signs of wear come from may cat who loves to sleep on it and dig his claws in..
    I had fake leather gaming chairs, never again. Your skin doesn't breathe and you sweat .

    I bought the same chair from office depot. I work from home and the chair just didn't last with daily use. I ended up getting a second hand humanscale chair, which was circa £300 and it's been perfect.
