Yeh I’ve been trying to with no luck unfortunately - keep getting an error saying my payment details do not match the country.

Exactly the same error I get too. I also purchased gift cards for both Google and Disney and they dismissed me without giving me a valid response.
You need a Turkish SIM (phone number) and bank card it seems now? If you are in Turkey perhaps you can convince a local to do the phone activation step for you, as getting a SIM requires a Turkish ID card. Secondly, you may be able to purchase gift cards out there activate using that and add your UK bank card as a back up payment method. Once the gift card runs out, it may fall back to your UK one. I guess you'll need to experiment.

For the SIM I can also solve the problem but for the bank I tried both fups and OlduBil without success.
Managed to get this set up today annual subscription using a FUPS account debit card and vpn on my phone using windscribe or freevpn.
disney werent accepting revolut, monzo, nationwide or chase bank account debit cards had to be a turkish one.
