I've been looking around the Aldi site, to see what's coming up and there are these at £29.99 each in store from Sunday 14th Jan. For the money it looks good for a 2000W model vs other places at the moment. Could be worth keeping an eye out for given how chilly it is at the moment.
Warranty is 3 years.

If you can turn off radiators, it's far far cheaper to use gas central heating than electric heaters, but you may of course not have gas (very rural), be forced to use electricity (apartments) or be heating a garden office. I use these oil heaters in my shed, but never in the house unless the gas is ever cut off. (edited)

This would have been better as the power switches are physical (mine are screen touch) - left in the on position you can hook this up to a smart plug and have a precise timer, and turn the blooming thing off if you have forgotten on your way to work.
Trust me, we used to use one!

The second store said they had some in but had all gone.
The final store the guy said he'd had 18 arrive and they all sold yesterday. This morning he'd rung all stores in driving distance and none had any. He said that last year they were selling them but they were not fast movers and weeks later he still had some. Consequently, he reckoned Aldi had ordered fewer and that no more would be delivered. A when they're gone, they're gone thing.
So, if you bagged one you've done well. If you haven't got one already, it seems you're not going to unless they suddenly get their hands on more to ship to stores.
