Now to wait patiently for a PS Plus deal as mine has just elapsed. Have a feeling they’ll be a desert deal towards end of the month. (edited)
At my last tether with Sony, the cost of owning a PS5 is more expensive than it's ever been for any previous PlayStation console - they've increased the price of Plus and we're still not seeing any benefit, they're releasing accesseries that cost as much as the console itself, release a controller that costs half the consoles price, we're seeing first party titles for unreasonable prices in digital format and they still haven't addressed the issues with playing older games.
I'm also still not happy with their entire stance with the PS3 store a couple years ago. When you see modders unlocking framerates on modded PS5's or what the clever clogs at RPCS3 are doing for PS3 emulation, Sony just come off as lazy and a bit incompetent. Rant over.
With my workplace discount portal I was able to get a £100 gift card for £79!
Just got my PS5 a week ago so I’ll have something else to play other than Astro’s Playground

Wanted to save a bit more with discounted gift cards but not wanting to chance buying them in case order cancelled and left with them until I find something else to buy in future.
Edit: just done another £35 and took about 10 minutes again. (edited)
And make sure you’re signed up to Playstation Stars. You’ll be able to get 4% of the value of the card back when you spend it. (edited)
I thought there already was?
Wanted to dl last of us today, should've just paid the £1 extra and got from ShopTo (edited)
EDIT; Support says can take 24 hours for code to arrive. GG Everyone whose waiting and wanted to play Last of us 2 today!
But hope people can see this and realise the £1 isn't worth the saving and you may as well buy from somewhere else if you need it today. (edited)
Makes sense with everyone trying to buy the Last of Us. (edited)
After a few hours, Currys have just cancelled it!
The PS voucher codes was in my "Your Orders" section on Currys. Don't need to upgrade my subscription just yet so will bide my time for subscription deals. (edited)
