Amazon now has £100 voucher which brings the:
Samsung s24 Ultra 512gb + Watch (claim) + Free case + tempered glass + £30 store voucher + Disney+12m down to £1,149.00.

But for some reason my order came down to 1,145.25. anyway for reorder it shows as 1,149.00. Still a deal. Better then the preorder deal that was previously available on amazon.

I know I'm late to the game but in what world is £1149 a cool amount for a phone which lets be honest is superseded in like 2-3 years... Mental... I will stick with mid range phones... I do miss my Mate 10 Pro.. loved that phone

Yes this is a decent price compared to RRP.. so I haven't voted cold... (edited)

I need a new phone, but just can't imagine parting with that much. The Mate 20 Pro has been a beast considering I paid £152 for it in 2019. I just want something cheap(ish) that has a better camera.

This is over two months mortgage payments for me.

I've been doing some comparisons to the s23 ultra this morning.youtube music videos mainly. The screen is definitely less reflective. The speakers sound about the same volume but the voices come across better, bass actually feels more pronounced on the s23 ultra but vocals better on the s24 ultra. The screen on the new one has more swipe resistance and you can feel the difference without the curve it doesn't feel as natural to swipe compared to the s23 ultra. The build quality on the s24 ultra feels amazing and the weight balance is better to it feels lighter even though its only 2 grams, the balance feels more spread out.

What do we think folks... Will Amazon honour this?

Mine came today. Pre-ordered on 18th. It's 512GB. Amazon don't sell the 1TB version. They told me to send it back if I'm not happy.
  4. GST1978's avatar
I ordered this and recieved my phone today. Unfortunately for those that thought they would get the 1TB for the price of 512GB as part of their double memory promotion, you don't. I contacted Amazon, and whilst the CS agreed the website description states the double memory promotion I.E 1TB for the price of 512Gb on the 512GB model page, and 512GB for the price of 256Gb on the 256Gb model page, they in fact don't honour this. They went on to say they do not stock the 1TB model, and I need to contact Samsung as it is a Samsung promotion who provided the pictures and details of the promotion (Yes, I know, so don't start ). They only thing Amazon are willing to do is accept a return and issue a refund. I raised for the matter to be escalated within Amazon, noting pre order offers a have now expired, but would also suggest others do the same, if they also feel hard done by. Maybe worth writing to Martin Lewis. P. S. No way of getting through to Samsung. I was Number 221 when I tried their chat
    User468449's avatar
You got the 512gb model for the price for the 256gb model. That was the offer by samsung. RRP for 256gb is £1,249, which is what Amazon are selling the 512gb for.

Clearly there was a mistake in the Amazon listing leading people to believe they were getting their storage doubled again. But they aren't going to honour the promotion, because that wasn't the promotion they were running.

    I don't know why this is getting hot when you can get the following from mobiles.co.uk ;

    Galaxy S24 Ultra 512GB
    £499.00 upfront

    100GB 5G data

    £29.99 per month

    £1,218.76 total cost

    Claim 12 Mths Disney+ & Galaxy Watch6

100GB contract is worth at least £200, bringing it to an effective cost of £1018.

Can also get 45-70 from topcaschbask and extra £5 off from voucher code at mobiles.co.uk. Free delivery too.
    Njay's avatar
It's an option but taking 2 price increases into account (definitely 7.9% this April) on £29.99 the total is nearer £1300 for the 24m so difference of £50-60 isn't as great.

I got the same deal and the phone will be delivered later today!
Will be interesting to see how the S24 Ultra compares to my S23 Ultra.

From the S22 to the S23 felt like a reasonable step up - especially for battery life. TBH I am not expecting as much of an upgrade this time round but still seems worth it for a net cost of under £300 once I have sold the watch.

Samsung seem to offer very similar deals each year. 15% discount on the phone, a decent freebie and a good trade in price of around £600 for last years model. This means that the net cost of upgrading each year to the latest Samsung S series always seems pretty reasonable. (To me at least.)
  8. kannaiah's avatar
On amazon, product picture it says on pre orderes they will upgrade 512GB to 1TB, does that apply to this aswell?
    kannaiah's avatar
    Anyway wife saying don't buy
  9. RevanClaw's avatar
Just note that to get the Watch6 you had to order it before the 25th I believe. It's no longer listed on the Amazon website so I don't think you can still get it.
    Ryanb's avatar
I ordered through Samsung today and it still includes watch.

I'd probably go through Samsung to make absolutely sure as it goes onto the order when you add the code on the website

    Is this 512GB or 1TB

You buy it now for next day delivery, not preorder so 512.
  11. aturner123's avatar
Just missed out on the watch. Wont let me add it. It does say "to 25th". Youd think that meana including the whole day of 25th
    robopanda's avatar
You have to claim the watch from Samsung, it doesn't come with Amazon order.
  12. bollymozilla's avatar
This was the price for 1tb version on Samsung but think the deal is over now

This is 1tb as it get double if you get from Amazon

I haven't seen the £150 off offer before...what exactly did you say to them if you don't mind me asking?
  16. MelancholySkies's avatar
I've got a 1TB S23 Ultra in Titanium Black + the Galaxy Watch 6 on the way. It states delivery as 7-14 days as it's on back order at the moment. I'll be listing it for sale if anyone is interested? I'll upload some photos when I have it. Open to offers.
    sdot's avatar
Envirophone will take £150 for it
  17. GST1978's avatar
I ordered mine last week from Amazon and the deal was £50 cheaper than this one. They were offering £150 voucher as opposed to £100 in this deal, plus watch, +£30 store credit + 12m Disney etc. Shame they don't have 1Tb version. Let's see what the phone is like when it arrives. 😁
    stickyapple's avatar
Good to know! I never saw any voucher when I pre-ordered 👀
  18. Māsharu_Rou's avatar
Missed the Samsung pre order deal, but going for this.

Only issue, when going to the claim page for the Galaxy Watch 6, it specifies phone must be sold by "Amazon.co.uk (sold by Amazon UK only, not Amazon EU)."

On the purchase page it simply just says "Dispatches and Sold by Amazon". However, at checkout, and on my order confirmation it shows sold by "Amazon EU S.a.r.L.".

Will this be an issue when filing the claim with Samsung for the watch and the other promotional items....?

Surprised this deal isn't hotter. This is as good of a deal as the original (non-EPP) Samsung preorder
  20. Brainslugged's avatar
I paid £1,089 for the 1TB version with free watch, Disney+, 5% back in credit on the Samsung store and (I think) another £30 of credit that can be claimed back at the store. As well as the 1TB for 512GB deal, I got £50 off, with the unpacked voucher and another 5% off using the Samsung app and code APP5. Oh... just realised I also got £170 off for an old S9. I thought all these deals were ending Jan 25th. But if you miss the free watch offer, you've still got up to Feb 29th to send off for a free watch. I thought I was going to be fine with my 1TB S22 Ultra for another year, but all these freebies and discounts seemed to be too good to pass up. Especially when Samsung would normally be charging a (ridiculous) £200 extra to go from 512GB to 1TB.
    Stephanie_Noble's avatar
What do you mean to send off for a free watch?

Last year it was £935.85 for 512gb Ultra, 40mm watch 4 and official case on Amazon.

My S24 Ultra order from Samsung was £911 for the 512gb, watch 6, case and screen protector. Plus £72 cashback from Perks at Work.
    BC_Sco's avatar
How did you get it for £911? It was between £1,011-1,061 depending on the voucher code you had wasn't it?

Thanks OP for letting us know!

I actually had pre-ordered this with Amazon. I asked Amazon today if they'll refund me the £100 price difference with the price guarantee scheme but they gave me contradictory answers. Turned out as it's an optional discount, I've got to cancel the order, and then re-order with the discount

I managed to nab the Samsung S24 Ultra 1TB on the pre order deal direct from Samsung, so got mine for £936 after trade in of my old S10.

I haven't had any correspondence about returning my S10 yet. Has anyone taken the same or similar deal regarding trade in? And if so, have you had any info about returning the trade in phone yet?

    Thanks,
    Rich

A return envelope normally arrives with your new phone, then your trade in phone is required to be sent back 7 working days after delivery.

Annoyingly, Samsung trade-in is not accepting Google PIxel 7 Pro if you buy from Amazon. But, if you buy directly from Samsung shop it allows the Pixel 7 Pro as a trade-in
  32. Jimmyboy's avatar
The case included is pretty ok but the screen protector is such a faff and isn't even glass. I've put it on for now until a glass one arrives tomorrow
  33. rbjim's avatar
Sorry to digress. Is £314 a good price for a Samsung A54? Direct from Samsung.

    Hi Guys,

I purchased a 512gb S23 Ultra last year. Any recommendations on what to do with an upgrade? Should i trade in my S23 against the S24 Ultra and is the offer from Samsung Website my only option?

The only reason for me upgrading is to get the flat screen apart from that nothing much else to be honest.

    Any help appreciated

    Thanks
    Amir2022's avatar
So s21 to s23 are pretty similar, only upgrade would be ai etc but nothing major. I am upgrading from s21 ultra mainly because I always was a note user and missed S pen. You should only do if barging is attractive
  35. Amir2022's avatar
    I got a barging for 256gb s24ulta for £624 with a free smart watch!

Anyone know what kind of free case you actually get? Doesnt show in the basket and there is no way to choose anywhere either.
    stickyapple's avatar
52060140-fizC9.jpgyou have to get it by following the link which says 'Promotional Message' on the S24 Ultra listing then go to 'Shop Items' then 'Benefits' and add it to the basket before you checkout (it looks like the attached image) that's the only option (edited)
  37. cameron_mutch's avatar
