Want to replace my x3 pro and I am really tempted by this offer, just delivery time is kinda scary. What might be the price of that phone in 45 days at locally based sellers ie xiaomi amazon? Any previous observations?
    Mirage67's avatar
I highly doubt you'll get the 12/512gb version from Xiaomi/Amazon for even approaching £300 in the next 45 days, let alone this price.

Although with this you basically have no warranty, might have to pay VAT if unlucky and will need an adaptor as it won't come with a UK plug, so that's all worth considering.

I'm also upgrading from my trusty old X3 Pro, got it for the same price you did no doubt (£150). Worth the risk for me, but we're all different.

Also, for what it's worth, I bought mine 2 days ago and it's been dispatched already, so I don't think I'll have to wait anywhere near 45 days, but who knows for sure. (edited)

I've not purchased from Ali Express before, i know there will be no concrete answer to this but do they generally mark the item as below customs value or is it completely random?
    fishmaster's avatar
I've been charged and not been charged. It depends if HMRC inspect the package or not and decide to look into the actual value. My advice is to use a Duty Calculator and work out the likely cost in case it happens, because if you do get charged VAT / Duty you can't claim it back. Also remember VAT / Duty pay for services in this country so actively trying to avoid it and undercut suppliers in this country isn't really cricket, but most people are out for themselves anyway so each to their own. Just prepare for the possibility that you could be charged and don't complain if you do get charged as you are aware it can happen and should be prepared.

Has this been shipped for anyone as yet? My order status was changed to shipped on Saturday. However, tracking information has not been updated.

Mine changed today finally y to "left country of origin" so I hope we will receive it within a week

I've got a pixel 6 and the battery life is doing my head in.

just wondering if this is an upgrade in real life usage and if anyone has got any idea how good the battery is?
    realdeals's avatar
Performance, charging and battery life are definitely in the Poco's court and you will be Impressed with the real world performance. Everything else is the Pixel's side of the Court.

Updates the Poco will go longer being it's newer.

If you don't care about the camera and have the new phone bug, this should put a smile on your face with it's raw performance. If the camera is important to you this is not the phone you are looking for .

Nice, can finally replace my X3 Pro.

    Came to £235.62 using Revolut.
    realdeals's avatar
Nice one I will make a card.
  8. pc5020's avatar
Just bought it and it came to £235.13 using Revolut.
    Mirage67's avatar
That's a whole 49p cheaper than I got it for using Revolut. 😡

Will be sending it back and reordering.

whats the camera like on these things? I have a redmi 10 pro atm (bought because of how good the camera is for the price) but the battery had it. (edited)
    piggymou's avatar
POCO line is optimized for gaming (i.e. best in class CPU / GPU), you should stick with the Redmi Note series, e.g. 13 Pro. Which is more balanced and has a better main camera. (edited)

52244261-Vvjj9.jpgFinally arrived. Felt like it took ages but two weeks exactly during Chinese new year isn't too shabby.

Didn't know it came with an adaptor and I've already bought one aswell.

    Bargain for the price.

Update for anyone interested in ordering processing times; AE seller updated my order status to dispatched within 48hrs⚡ (edited)
  14. whatever76's avatar
If the phone develops a fault, do you have to contact AliExpress/Chinese seller or Xiaomi here in Europe?
    Caz42's avatar
You essentially have no warranty if you buy from AE.
  15. piggymou's avatar
Sold the Samsung S23 FE and bought this instead.

Bigger battery, screen, ram, storage, and not as heavy. Smaller bezels also. Basically better in every way. (edited)

Anyone received this yet? Mine ia stuck with a status of " at departure hub” since 7th Feb
    whatever76's avatar
It's now Lunar New Year in China and elsewhere in Asia, so expect a delay with everything there I guess
  18. rizel23's avatar
Mine arrived, ordered 1st February so that’s 20 days.

came via Netherlands, declared at $27.89 so no duty paid, bargain after another now, charging adapter also included rapid charge is just that.

    Thanks OP

Incredible I posted like this yesterday as I have always done and an annoymous mod told me i had to changed it to pounds at the Ali checkout despite having the PayPal checkout in sterling.
    Incredible.
Nice deal I might actually order one now, this price is crazy low.

Thanks pal. Sorry for reposting your deal with the code. I ordered the 8GB version for £220 and it's still in transit. For £16 more I can get a 12GB 512GB version so I placed an order earlier.

Sorry if this is a stupid question, I know it is..., I've never done this paying in USD before...so, if I just load up my Revolut account with enough cash in GBP, and then purchase this phone choosing to pay in USD on Ali Express I'll get the phone for approx £237?

My only wish is that it came in the same blue colour the X5 Pro did and it would have been absolutely perfectenschlag.

Can't win them all I suppose.

Got the £275 deal a few days ago. Anyone had experience like this with Ali?
