Make sure your gamepass has expired..Either buy Xbox Gold, or Core, preferably Gold. I bought mine from the Turkey store as it's cheaper using a VPN. But can but it bit more expensive anywhere. Then buy a month of Ultimate and then it converts it to slightly less time. For example, mine just expired. So I bought a 12 month Gold for 28.99. then when added 1 month Ultimate, it now gave me it until end of November. So basically £35-£40 ISH for 10months of Ultimate. First time I've ever done it but I understand it now.

So
Step 1. Wait til your expired.
Step 2, Buty X amount of Gold and activate
Step 3 Buy 1 month Ultimate and add to your Gold which converts it to less amount of the purchased Gold, but still much much cheaper than any other method

You can easy change your ms account region in your profile settings on their website.

Also it seems you get more months of gamepass when converting on an expired account!

£72/year. Insane cost (although only £6/month so not bad) . Let it expire and convert gold. Should go down to £35/year half the cost.

This is probably the cheapest for those who have a decent amount of time left and want to extend it. Who knows if the current gold to GPU trick will even work in a year or two? Gold isn't even a current thing anymore.

You can buy monthly codes for less than £2 each, as far as I know that's the best you can get right now. You can currently buy one month US codes for £1.77 at e.n.e.b.a, remove the dots... (edited)
