This looks good, and definitely one for a house with younger kids, but I definitely feel like this should have been a £30 game.

It definitely feels like the Captain Toad Treasure Tracker of the Switch generation, except Captain Toad was never a full price release.

Puzzlers are never going to stay at full price, even if it's a first-party Nintendo game. First-party Nintendo platformers or Mario Kart or Smash Bros. or mainline Zelda games..
ect on the other hand, always hold their value.

Talking of Mario let downs, where better to start than the whole MK8/MK8D debacle going back to Wii U days. Mario Party continues to dissapoint, haven't really properly enjoyed one since the 3DS titles. And New Super Mario Bros Wii U was so low effort first time around, didnt need the Switch release.

There has been the several good titles along the way, Odyssey remains the gem.

Super Mario 3D World is great fun for 4 players! Agree that New Super Mario Bros Wii U was very basic. We lost interest in it after the first few levels.
