Meta Quest+ will now include a rotating catalogue of games where you can play all of them while subscribed, on top of the current 2 games per month.
This March it will include:
2 Monthly Games
  • Contractors
  • Shadow Point
Games Catalogue:
  • Walkabout Mini Golf
  • Onward
  • The Climb
  • Jurassic World Aftermath Collection
  • Fruit Ninja
  • Sports Scramble
  • Hand Physics Lab
  • A Township Take
  • Demeo
  • Red Matter
  • Espire 1
  • 2MD: VR Football
  • Until You Fall

I think this is excellent value because VR games tend to be short 3-4 hour experiences and this is perfect to try out a bunch of games cheapily.

On buying the annual subscription (£59.99) you can also claim £20 of store credit.

Just a reminder that the free games you claim are only yours whilst you have an active subscription. When you cancel you lose the “free” games you’ve claimed.

I've been hovering over buying one for the past week. I know there's no offers/discounts ATM, but is it worth the full £480 price?
    LeonDR76's avatar
No, not quite. You don;t get to own these other 'rotating games' at all. After the monthly period is over, they'll be removed and others added.

The 6 month sub offer (when buying the Quest 3) expires in April, so this is great timing  .

It's €8.99/€69.99 on the Euro store, nice.

    Wait, what 6 month offer?

Nothing similar for PSVR2 I assume?

Not a bean. Not even on the 1 year anniversary of release. PSVR2 needs a few big releases. Rescue Mission remaster / sequel would be a start.

Walkabout Mini Golf is excellent! Heat

This should get a tonne of heat. It's amazing value now particularly with the games rotating!

I've been saving up my trial for a decent month - looks like any month is that month now!

Only had a 1 month trial. Bought the yearly sub anyway.  Cheers.

Good - because I would be interested in a Game Pass type subscription on Quest, but when I looked at this when it first launched it was essentially Games with Gold (2 games added per month, only available if you're a subscriber and add them at the time) but with no other perks.

So this is much better, although still not for me as I already own the games I would most want to play on that list. But whenever it rotates to some games I'd like to try I'll be giving this a go.

The problem with VR games is that they are very expensive relative to their short length.
This new version of + solves that problem.
I doubt if I will have to buy another game!
    Kai_Kinder's avatar
Between the sales and 25% off every game with a code the games are comparatively very very cheap tbh.

Though for the price, assuming the rotating library is actually any good this is excellent value

That’s a much better programme, though most will have those as they are the usual suspects, it’s great for new users. I’ve definitely considered buying Demoeo, Aftermath, Espire.

When does the annual subscription with £20:credit expire? I wanted to use the free month trial first

    Bought contractors yesterday. Nice

It's a great game, try for a refund if you've got less that 2 hours play time.

I've just finally activated my free 6 months, any ideas how to access the catalogue? Don't appear to be available yet

Also, do you think the £20 credit will apply when upgrading the 6 month free trial?
    ladybert's avatar
How did you get a 6 month free trial please?
  16. 0ldgamer's avatar
Any promo codes to be added?

Any chance I can use this on my rift s? It’s been gathering dust
    Smartee's avatar
I've found a couple of reddit posts saying that you can but might only be if the games are cross buy.

And then all of a sudden we need to pay for online play and everybody thing keeps raving about it as being "the greatest deal in VR". Fools.

    Bad day?

Has anyone with the 6 months taken this offer up already?
Did you get the year extension and the £20?

Wondering if I wait till expiry on the 1st May if I will lose the offer.

You get 6 months free Quest+ when you buy the Quest 3 512Gb so gonna be activating it now they have this game catalogue so I can try a few decent games like Demeo.

Had the headset since Xmas and theres so much free stuff to try and loads of free trials for games not in this catalogue too but they usually only last 30mins or so but overall it's really good value if you can afford a Quest. (edited)

I can’t seem to see the 6 months free… I can see a months trial on the app?
  21. jewelie's avatar
Can you play these PCVR via the Oculus app?

To me it doesn't seem to look like you can. Anyone know any different?
  22. Ballsy180's avatar
Cool didn't know about the catalogue, will take a closer look

When I checked the Meta site yesterday the £20 credit for buying a £59.99 sub was mentioned.... now it's gone. ☹️

EDIT - the credit IS referred to in the Meta app - just make sure it's up-to-date as it didn't show on my second account where the app hadn't been updated. (edited)
    Johnmcl7's avatar
It does seem to show the credit in the app although there's only the option for a free trial, I'm not sure where you sign up for the year?
  24. kingofpies's avatar
Anyone know how the credit works if you are currently on a free trial? If I cancel before the end of my trial, then sign up for the year, do I get the credit?

Or do I even need to do that?
  25. speedbird747's avatar
this is what google stadia should have done - you pay a subscription and play any game you want with no additional costs (unless you want to buy the game outright)
  26. blake4100's avatar
can you use store credit to pay for subscription and can you get credit for referring these games to friends?
  27. copperspock's avatar
The last date to redeem the 6 month trial that came with the Quest 3 is the 6th of April.
